This appears to be a big win for Board members Doris Hohensee and Howard Coffman. The Nashua Board of Education has voted unanimously to approve a School Sponsored JROTC Marksmanship program.

We’ve promised some new and exciting things since the Springtime and we’re ready for ‘What’s next!’ We call them MicroGroks. And you are getting one soon!
If you thought public education was expensive and increasingly useless, Nashua is prepared to double down on that. At tonight’s School Board meeting, they will “discuss” adding 3 million a year to the budget for Social Emotional Learning.

For the second year, the Nashua Pride Festival is featuring a so-called family-friendly drag show in a downtown public park and encouraging all ages to attend.
The Left is destroying Nashua, New Hampshire. In the interest of ensuring its path toward a liberal utopia with debt-ridden, poop spattered, needle littered streets, the Board of Alderman has proposed a change to the City Charter. No more of those pesky special elections.
Democrats demonstrate their lack in trust of you as a fellow citizen with every breath. Their legislative priorities deny you resources. Regulatory endeavors shift decision making from individuals or job creators to bureaucrats. You can’t even lay claim to how you vote; they insist third parties and foreign interlopers manipulated you.
Targeting, known in some circles as reporting, commenting or exposing (in the case of voting records, public statements, even lies, fraud, and abuse) has become one of Jan Schmidt’s two favorite words. The other is Hate. Anyone who reports on this Democrat’s votes or her antics is guilty of hate.
In late May, we revealed a claim by Nashua Alderman and Democrat House Rep. Jan Schmidt. Jan shared on a public forum that because of all the “hate” we’d whipped up several reps in Merrimack had police protection. Several. Well, a Grokster asked the police chief in Merrimack who these folks might be and got a reply.
We have several informal mottoes here at GraniteGrok. One is self-evident – “we annoy people” (mostly the ones that need annoying). The other one is a tangential off-shoot of what the late US Speaker of the House “Tip” O’Neill’s quote of “All politics is local” If it is happening here, it is probably happening in … Read more
A few months ago one of Merrimack House Democrat Rosemarie Rung‘s Facebook followers told her to call the police if I threaten her. Rung had posted a link on Facebook to a post of mine in which I defend Republican House Rep Jeanine Notter. For that, Ms. Rung wanted residents to know that people like me live in town.
Without a meeting or a quorum, some portion of the Nashua School Board produced an official public action released by Board President Heather Raymond ‘As the Board‘ against a fellow member. This violated board policy, state law, and now – since the same board refuses to allow the accused equity, federal law.
My name is Beth Scaer, I am a Nashua resident, and I am here to support Doris Hohensee. Doris was elected to the Nashua Board of Education because the voters trust her and respect her. There has never been a hint of racism in her life and, in fact, her history on the board of … Read more
I have a small mountain of content to share regarding the Nashua Board of Education Clown Car, but this story will only take a minute.
We’ve been having some fun with the Nashua School District and the clown car they call their Board of Education. And maybe that’s why they’ve banned us. According to their network, it’s because we might be a blog or a forum. Okay, so why aren’t any of these other Blogs blocked as well?
by Kevin Scully | Liberals love to talk about a world where there is no bullying, but the progressives on the Nashua Board of Education appear to disagree. What else would you call Heather Raymond’s bullying action against Doris Hohensee, a sitting school board member who has done no wrong? Board President Raymond issued a … Read more
Heather Raymond, El President of the Nashua Board of Education, is convinced she’s done no wrong. A damning self-indictment that in my opinion suggests that she is no longer capable of leading that body.
Due to a miscommunication entirely of my own creation, my earlier post about the Nashua BOE meeting was woefully incomplete. Let’s see if we can remedy that.
The Nashua Board of Education met last night. The primary topic of discussion was a previous board decision to allow JROTC air rifle marksmanship practice behind Nashua North High School.
Deb Stevens has a low opinion of her constituents. She’s comfortable calling them ignorant. You are too stupid to know what’s best. And what is best according to Deb Stevens is for her to decide how your money gets spent.
