Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom (and how Government is taking that away from us). My fight, from a Conservative (with small "L" libertarian leanings) and evangelical Christian perspective, is with the Progressives that are forcing a collectivized and secular humanistic future upon us. As TEA Party activist, citizen journalist (and pundit!), my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture again.

Data Point – Climate change is mostly about virtue-signaling, not actually doing (unless you are the US)

About that “Paris Accord”? Reformatted, emphasis mine: Nineteen nations “believe” in climate change. How are they backing up their statement of faith? China was praised for signing on to the Paris Climate Agreement and in Argentina reaffirmed its commitment to controlling greenhouse gas emissions. Last year, however, China increased those emissions by 1.7 percent. India, the fourth …

Attributes of “you will be assimilated” Social Justice Warriors that can’t just leave well alone.

It’s like they feel they’re on a mission from God.  Oh wait, they don’t believe in God, do they?  OK, in their own minds, they ARE their own god. We make sport of Social Justice Warriors all the time because, well, they make themselves easy targets.  The problem is that they act in the typical …

Data Point: How to “correct” the Income Inequality between the US and the rest of the world?

After all, when you consider the basis point of not just “99% vs the 1%” in the US (as the Marxist / SJWs complain, who want to use Government to “equalize” everyone and thing) but instead, judge the world against the US, we ARE the 1% of the world and the rest of the world …

Blogline of the Day – if you’ve got it, they’ll spend it

Government expenditures will expand to exceed revenues. A story of pot when the taxes paid for pleasure end up enlarging Government.  Which, here in NH, has been the reason why the Democrats have pushed for a casino (or two).  Not for the sake of letting a corporation separate one’s money from one’s wallet – it …

Notable Quote – James Buchanan

Once a governmental program is instituted, a specific clientele is born, with clearly defined interests in both the maintenance and expansion of the program’s benefits. These interests make themselves felt politically, with the familiar concentration of pressures toward expansion as opposed to the dissipated opposition reflected in the generality of the taxes used to finance …

If this is happening in your place (Louisiana), it’s most likely happening in our place: Medicaid Expansion fraud

That’s right – a take off on what Doug and I used to say all the time on Meet The New Press: “if it’s happening here, it’s happening where you’re at, too” (which was a take off on former US Speaker of the House Tip O’Neal’s maxim “All politics is local”.  So I don’t know …

Stone cold, she is

She seethes believing that it WAS her turn and Trump took it away never understanding that, sometimes, a bit of grace is required. Especially when lots of cameras are trained on her. I’m thinking she just blew her 2020 chances (which were close to nil in the first place). (H/T: American Thinker)

Once again, Republicans refuse to stand up for…..Republicans

You can be sure that if this was on the other foot, that it was a Republican that had won with “uncertain” residency credentials, NH Dem Party Chair would be threatening to bomb the Hague NH State Senate chambers. But once again, we see limpness of elected Republican spines in the face of confrontation (reformatted, …
