I’m not expecting this to last, but it is proof of possibilities. Our strong start to July has pushed us, at least for now, past both Foster’s Daily Democrat and the Concord Monitor in Alexa Online Traffic Ranking.

Here we continue on with the second of our four part series where I and former Speaker of the House Bill O’Brien had an informal panel at Portfest on where is it best to be IF you want to get politically active here in NH – inside the Legislative process as an elected official or … Read more
It is no secret that GraniteGrok is probably the most Liberty and Freedom minded “media outlet” in NH. It is who we are and what we do. It is also true that we are the media site that is the most friendly to the Free State Project.
Let me begin by saying thank you. In the first 3+ days of July of 2019, we surpassed our total traffic for all of July 2018. It is news that will alarm many on the left. Good.
July’s number one (well received) product from the Grok Factory was a report on how no one wants to date trans-women, and yet here we are using libraries to make more of them. Sad.
Yes, perhaps I have been spending too much time on FaceBook lately but I now have stuff to bring back – this is one of them. Hold onto your seats, this is a relatively unknown fact: Progressives hate GraniteGrok (and so do a number of Republicans). Now, the latter will moan and whine a bit … Read more
Spring brings with it what we call the summer slowdown. People get busy outdoors and spend less time online. That looks a lot different this year than in previous years. We got more views every five days in May 2019 than we did over the entire month in 2018.
Ever since we briefly passed the Concord Monitor in average daily Alexa ranking, folks like to ask. How’s your ranking? Is traffic good? Did you pass anyone else?
One year ago today I had a heart attack. And the only reason I wasn’t blogging on April 9th instead of April 10th is my laptop wasn’t with me at the hospital yet.
Good times here at GraniteGrok.com. Our reach continues to grow. We are on pace to break a quarter-million views per month by summer. A fact that New Hampshire’s political establishment needs to know. Growth in which the New Hampshire media might take an interest. A reality that our political opponents must confront.
GraniteGrok was there at the Granite State Taxpayer’s NH Advantage Rally yesterday. It was important, it was a Conservative event. We covered it; we’ve got some video up already – and a little bit more to do as well. It’s what we do. So, I decided to do a thought experiment. If just “showing up” was important … Read more
We’d like to thank everyone who made the trip and took the time to come to our most recent GrokMeet. Great turnout. Excellent conversation. And we tried something different. A Grok Panel. All the authors who made the event took the “stage” at Murphy’s Taproom and fielded questions from our readers.
I’ll keep this one short. We had another fantastic month. Thousands of you are visiting us daily. Our numbers are soaring. And we want you to know that we are working hard to earn that support every day. It is an honor to us that choose to come here to see what we’re thinking about the culture and the news of the day.
Nine years ago today, on February 20th, 2010, I published my first post at GraniteGrok.com. It was about Dan Itse’s bill to create a House committee whose purpose would be to consider the constitutionality of things. Government things. Later that same week I would write about taxes, commuter rail, Carol Shea-Porter, Paul Hodes, and Jeanne … Read more
The gun-grabbers love to whittle away your ability to carry. Require permission. Make that process more complicated and expensive. Make it inconvenient to carry so that you are first forced and then get used to not doing it. Maybe get someone busted for carrying in some location where they have made it “illegal.” Use the media to … Read more
Before all of the testimony on the Democrat Second Amendment infringing bills started, I caught up with the Womens’ Defense League honchos (and Groksters!) Kimberly Morin and Susan Olsen who graciously agreed to spend a few minutes with GraniteGrok. Here, Kimberly Morin shares her thoughts with me AND sends a message to Gov. Chris Sununu … Read more
We launched a new feature on Facebook today. Facebook polls. They will run for up to a week, and we will then report the results here, along with some of the comments left in their wake. If you are on Facebook you can follow the Grok and participate here. I can tell you we’re already stirring things up a bit.
This may or may not come as a surprise, but GraniteGrok.com has decided to make an endorsement in both the race for NHGOP Chairman and Vice-Chairman. For those unfamiliar with our process, it works like this. We ask all of our authors to vote. There are at least twenty (most of who write infrequently). But … Read more
First road show event for GraniteGrok of the new year – and hoping all the new gear will help us to bring a lot of livestreaming of political yakking and coverage of what’s going on in the auditorium. We can’t guarantee sparks and fireworks like there’s been in years past but hey, who knows what … Read more
Welcome to January 2019. The 2020 elections have already started (no rest), but we’re here for you. And you are here for us. Which means it’s time to take a look at what we did that got the most of your attention in December of 2018. December was a fantastic month for GraniteGrok. We had … Read more
