If you missed the top posts for 2019, you can see them here, but let’s not forget December. It was an exciting month for traffic. Five of the top ten, including the four most viewed posts in December 2019, were published earlier in the year.

It’s More than A Feeling – Grok Traffic Jumped 540% in 2019
I have mixed results in the prediction game. My Lewandowski sources turned out to be wrong; he’s not running. To incentivize traffic, I said we wanted to beat WMUR’s Alexa rank by Christmas, but after more research, it may take years to get close.
Welcome to 2020 – A Quick Look Forward and a Quick Look Back
Another decade in the can, depending on how you define decades and cans. The year 2020 lay before us. But before we leave it behind 2019 was a great year for GraniteGrok. Our best yet.
GraniteGrok Interviews – Democrat Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard
Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard’s Presidential effort had her in Southern New Hampshire yesterday, including an event in Hollis. Mike Rogers crossed paths with a staffer Friday morning and requested an interview with the Democratic primary candidate.

Happy November. Thanksgiving is a few weeks away, and Christmas not far behind that. Before we know it, we’ll be up to our eyeballs in 2020. But we’re not there yet.
September is Gone but the Stories That Made it Memorable are Not
Never a dull month. In September, we uncovered how the DNC championed the absence of religion. Nashua Democrats tried (repeatedly) to censor free speech (while some threatened conservatives).
Granite Grok is ‘Getting a Little Work Done’
You may have heard the term “they’ve had a little work done.” It’s when some celebrity or public person has had a bit of plastic surgery. Tighten up this, adjust that. Well, at GraniteGrok, we’re having a little work done of our own.
Dublin Area GOP (DAGOP) – Stump the Groksters! The Videos
Steve and I were invited to speak at the Dublin Area Republican earlier this month. A bit of a trip from the Lakes Region but was glad to do it. We DID have fun! I also have to say, as we did that night, these guys and gals have it going on! Really have a … Read more
Prior to 9/11 I Did Not Give a Damn About Politics – What the Hell Happened?
September 11th, 2001, was one of those days when people ask you where you were. I know where I was, but that is less important than where my mind was and where it went. I had questions. The pursuit of answers led me to where I am today.
The Grok is Creeping Up on WMUR and About to Pass UL In Global Traffic Rank as Well
In late July, GraniteGrok.com passed the Union leader in National Alexa Rank to become the number one on-line print media presence in New Hampshire. Two weeks later I announced a new goal; pass WMUR’s online traffic by Christmas. So, how’s that working out?
Hello September! Wait, Where’d August Go?
Summer slips away quickly when you’re busy — blogging, for example. Soon we’ll be forced to look across our laptops at autumn leaves that need raking. Wondering to ourselves, if we have them, where’d my kids go?
Grok Invasion of the Jim Lawrence Show
Skip and I, and later Ellen, invaded the Jim Lawrence Show on Tuesday from 4-6pm. Topics ranged from rainforest fire politics to my colon. I kid you not. And yes, there was a lot of political talk in between.
GraniteGrok Speaking Engagements!
Well, this should be entertaining! For the first time ever, GraniteGrok is receiving requests to come to speak at various groups around NH. To my surprise, given that we “spank’em” as well as “thank’em”, a number have been and will be, local GOP meetings. Steve has spoken at a few lately and we also have … Read more
Millennials Flock to NH for Jobs, Affordable Housing, Quality of Life
I can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve heard democrats, or anyone for that matter, use the phrase “we need more young people to move here!” It’s a common trope, especially from democrats who seek to impose more government intervention on the rest of us through programs like workforce training, ‘workforce’ housing, college … Read more

July is behind us and with it a new record. GraniteGrok has passed the Union Leader to become the number one Alexa Ranked print media internet presence in New Hampshire. Why?
Summer Surge: GraniteGrok Could Overtake UnionLeader.com Before August 1st!
A little over a year ago I set my mind to a task. What do I need to do to make GraniteGrok.com live up to the tagline I convinced Skip to paste at the top of every webpage on our site: “Dominating the Political Bandwidth in New Hampshire?”

And this wraps up this series on our, Bill O’Brien and I, about those wanting to get involved in NH Politics. The operative question: better to get elected and get inside and be part of the process? Or, like what we do here at GraniteGrok – be a political activist on the outside and and … Read more

Here’s the next to last (aka, third) of our four part series on if it is better to be on the inside of politics here in NH doing “the actual work” or being on the outside influencing those on the outside as well as those on the inside. Two person panel at this year’s Porkfest: … Read more
GraniteGrok’s Summertime Surge – We just Passed Foster’s and the Concord Monitor in Online Traffic
I’m not expecting this to last, but it is proof of possibilities. Our strong start to July has pushed us, at least for now, past both Foster’s Daily Democrat and the Concord Monitor in Alexa Online Traffic Ranking.
