That’s my latest sampling of how many days it took the National Guard to federally recognize the promotions of its servicemembers after those promotions had already been fully approved by their state command. Just to be clear: these officers start doing the work of their new rank the day their promotions are approved – they just don’t get the pay increase or the time-in-grade credit until the Washington bureaucracy processes the papers.
Like I’ve been saying lately, I get stuff from all over and from a lot of people. Including a lot of Democrats. You see, they all think I can be influenced because I’m a “registered Independent”. Go ahead and chortle over that one – I’ll wait.
So, the US Senator from MA, Elizabeth “You didn’t build that” Warren sends me a LOT of emails. Funny that, so do a lot of other Democrats; most of their names also keep being shoved into the Prez Wannabee mirror machine. But I digress. So, she’s railing against the ineffectiveness of Government. Big Government. A Big, Sprawling, Paper Overridden, Slow as Molassas Government. Imagine that….oh wait!

Obama’s budget, the White House Budget, is using something called chained CPI, and Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren is upset about that. She is upset because it could result in her brother getting less in Social Security from the government, which he relies on to live.
Senator Warren has a net worth of over 14 million dollars and she’s upset because Obama’s budget gimmick might cut into the $13,200.00 per year her brother has to get by on. Compassionate Democrat Millionaire Senator, brother lives on $13,200 from taxpayers.

Warren represented not just Travelers, but numerous other companies starting in the late 1990s working out of and using her Harvard Law School office in Cambridge, which she listed as her office of record on briefs filed with various courts. Warren, however, never has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
