73% Of Democrats Want a ‘Fresh Face’ for Their 2020 Nominee: So Why Is Biden Still the Favorite?

The latest Rassmussen polls are a mixed bag of contradictions when it comes to Democrat candidates for President. Three out of four Democrats polled say they think the party needs a fresh face for their 2020 nominee. But it won’t be Kamala Harris.

At least 40% of likely US voters have an unfavorable opinion of her with nearly 30 of those very unhappy with the candidate. Elizabeth Warren has also fared poorly. But, Joe Biden is still holding strong. The least new likely face on the ticket unless Hillary decides to make another go of it.

A scenario that would be perfect for Trump and Republicans.

As for Clinton, 58% now believe she has been bad for the Democratic Party. Only 22% think she’s been good for Democrats, while 12% say she’s had no impact on the party.

At least they’ve got that old guard candidate scratched off their list. Not that this will keep her from thinking “third time’s the charm.”

But that works for me.

Run Hillary, Run!
