Elizabeth Warren formally announced her entrance into the Jackass Derby. An off-balance field of Democrats crowded onto the far-left side of the 2020 Hopey-Changey bus. In her official announcement, she said what Democrats always say, despite any evidence to support it. But this is Elizabeth Warren. Credibility is…well, whatever.
“It won’t be enough to just undo the terrible acts of this administration,” Warren said. “We can’t afford to just tinker around the edges — a tax credit here, a regulation there. Our fight is for big, structural change.”
“This is the fight of our lives.,” Warren said. “The fight to build an America where dreams are possible, an America that works for everyone. I am in that fight all the way. And that is why I stand here today: to declare that I am a candidate for President of the United States of America.”
Like the one Obama started? Low employment for minorities, big raises for bureaucrats and the deficit? Big, Bigger, Bigger Government!
Laying out the primary concerns of her campaign, Warren said she was focused on changing regulations that would “clean up Washington, change rules in our economy, [and] change rules to strengthen our democracy.”
We live in a Republic, Ms. Warren. Democracy is mob rule. As for changing the rules of the economy, we’ve had a look at that. Command and control from DC. Regulators before job creators. Which works out great when your political system of choice is mob rule. If people try to speak up about your policies Antifa or some other street thugs can set them straight for you while you tsk, tsk from some exclusive Georgetown soiree.
There’s more, but it’s just more of the same. The system is broken. Rigged. (Says the Democrat Harvard Prof who makes nearly a half-mil to teach one class as the diversity hire.) Inequality. It doesn’t have to be that way. Lieawatha has heap good medicine.
No. I think you have cultural and economic poison just like the rest of them.
