Some of you suspected. Most of you, at least among our regular readers, already knew. But we’ve got more confirmation. America’s so-called watch-dog media is a mass of partisan liberal swill.
The Democrat Majority in the New Hampshire House of Representatives has put totalitarianism on display for all to see. Thankfully, they’re only able to show it in the small body of 400. We have a firewall in between their desire for total control and the general populace. Hopefully they’ve also shown the Republican caucus, who … Read more

[Updated below] US Senate candidate Corky Messner was scheduled to speak at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. But the title of the talk triggered the snowflakes who (apparently) threatened violence at the mere prospect. (Dartmouth receives significant amounts of taxpayer dollars.)
Biden’s political career will be ending soon. March 3rd, I think. Possibly sooner. And when you find yourself at the end of a line, possibly before you expected, you need a path forward. This is why I think Joe Biden should form a band and go on tour.
For a guy that is rich enough to have already spent $409 million on national campaign ad buys (and most likely millions more on staff payroll and expenses), he just plain sucked last night. “What the heck did his staffers do to prep him for the obvious attacks” has been the refrain I’ve seen all day long.
We learned that the Majority Party Democrats haven’t learned anything from last year’s session with regard to vetoed bills because some of them were back today with different bill numbers and nearly identical language. The result was passage in the NH House of these bills, but we all know that if they survive the NH … Read more
Senator Shaheen supports dead babies not live ones, or at least her speech on the Senate floor indicates that. The U.S. Senate will vote on a pro-life bill early next week. The Senate will vote on S.311 Sen. Ben Sasse’s “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act.” The born-alive bill requires doctors to provide medical care to any … Read more
…What I love about these rallies is that they provide such a stark contrast to the vision of America that the Democratic candidates keep describing. The story they’re selling is that these are dark times in a country that’s being run by a lawless autocrat. The rallies are filled with thousands of happy people who … Read more
Members of the political class often simultaneously demonstrate ignorance and arrogance, but Michael Bloomberg’s comment about farmers takes him right to the top of that class.
This was done yesterday morning; wonder what it would be if taken now? By a 52% to 48% margin, Trump is leading the generic “Democrat” in the race when voters were asked “Who do you think will win,” a significant margin for a president who just beat back impeachment to stay in office. The latest … Read more
I brought forward the Born Alive Infant Act, SB 741, in order to ensure that a baby who takes its first breath receives all reasonable medical actions needed to preserve their life, regardless of the circumstances of their birth.
30 seconds into it, I was already crying from laughter. THIS was a Democrat version of the WWE’s WrestleMania. Verbal fists were flying, back kicks were landing in nether regions – everyone finished with black&blues, scratches, and more than a few limping off the stage. As a Conservative, it was GLORIOUS! No, I didn’t watch it … Read more
On Tuesday, March 10, Gilford voters will choose a new member of the Board of Selectmen to replace retiring Selectman Rags Grenier, who has served with distinction. I will be voting for Denise Gonyer and I urge my fellow voters in Gilford to vote for her as well. Many people know that Denise served as … Read more
Is it just me, or is there a difference between reporting and perceptions of activities of Republicans and Democrats? If there is a story, a rumor, an innuendo, or a tenuous connection associated with a Republican, the worst interpretation is reported and repeated.
Twitter is a hot mess but then that’s the appeal. An endless rubberneckers multi-car pile-up of thoughts, ideas, articles, pictures, video, and quite often stupid. I recently started using it again after a few years away and the freak show hasn’t changed.
About two weeks ago U.S. District Judge Loretta Biggs of North Carolina issued an injunction. Her injunction bars the Trump administration from implementing a new policy. The policy changes how the government calculates the duration of an illegal immigrant’s unlawful presence in the country.
New Hampshire Democrat Katherine ‘I hit Little Ol’ Ladies’ Rogers had a bill I called ‘No Dogs left Outside.’ It gave the state the power to fine you for leaving your dog outdoors for too long or without clean water. Regardless of breed on terms defined by them.
SHOT: Matt Ridley ( The Rational Optimist) The future will feature ideas that are barely glints in engineers’ eyes right now – devices in space to harness the solar wind, say, or the rotational energy of the earth; or devices to shade the planet with mirrors placed at the Lagrange Point between the sun and the … Read more
The gun-grabbers in the New Hampshire legislature have advanced a compromise bill. That’s what they’d call it. It forces a three-day waiting period on the purchase of firearms by law-abiding citizens. Felons, who don’t have to wait were pushing for the seven-day waiting period.
