So, NH State Rep Liz McConnell is at it again? “Silence, you rotten Brentwood Newsletter”. And her latest voting record

What IS it with Democrats – why have they become the Party of Censorship? It has come to my attention that NH State Rep Liz McConnell (D-Brentwood) is, once AGAIN, trying to silence and have the Brentwood Newsletter defunded (it is supported, in a small way, by Petition Warrant in Brentwood) and shut down?  Do they really like being the reincarnation of the Puritans – no dissent and no fun in life at all with a very strict code of behavior?  At least the latter worshiped God and believe their code was from God. On the other hand, as the Democrat Party booed God being in their Party Convention (2012), I have no idea what Progressive / Socialist Democrats believe in other than themselves and Government.  Like Mussolini noted:

The Fascist conception of the State is all embracing; outside of it no human or spiritual values can exist, much less have value. Thus understood, Fascism is totalitarian, and the Fascist State — a synthesis and a unit inclusive of all values — interprets, develops, and potentiates the whole life of a people.

And of course his most famous quote:

Everything Within the State, Nothing Against the State, Nothing Outside the State

Which, given that the Democrats are the Party of Government and have also said that “Government is the one thing that we all belong to” (make that “within” bit pretty clear, eh?), THEY get to set the rules and we must obey. After all , if you look at the vast majority of legislation, it isn’t having Government being an “umpire”, it’s a Government Nanny with a old school nun’s ruler (for whacking recalcitrant childrens’ hands to “learn them something” and make us behave to THEIR standards. They truly believe that last quote and they control what is in and what it out.

And right now, NH State Rep Liz McConnell (D-Brentwood) is on the warpath simply because it is an avenue that can be used to show her in the real glare of Big Flashlights instead of how she desires to be portrayed.  Well, guess what, Liz, here’s your voting record thus far this session. Hopefully, the Brentwood Newsletter will pick it up and print it.

And because you nastily took it upon yourself to say that I hadn’t given them permission to use my material from GraniteGrok the first time they reprinted your voting record that I had put up (of which you had NO RIGHT AT ALL to say), guess what:

The staff at the Brentwood Newsletter have my permission to use ANY PART of ANY POST from now and in the future.

So, nice to see, Liz, that you hate the First Amendment of the US Constitution that stands up for the Freedom of the Press as well as the following Articles of the NH Constitution:

[Art.] 4. [Rights of Conscience Unalienable.] Among the natural rights, some are, in their very nature unalienable, because no equivalent can be given or received for them. Of this kind are the Rights of Conscience.

[Art.] 22. [Free Speech; Liberty of the Press.] Free speech and Liberty of the press are essential to the security of Freedom in a State: They ought, therefore, to be inviolably preserved.

[Art.] 30. [Freedom of Speech.] The freedom of deliberation, speech, and debate, in either House of the Legislature, is so essential to the rights of the people, that it cannot be the foundation of any action, complaint, or prosecution, in any other Court or place whatsoever.

You swore an oath to protect and defend both Constitutions when you became a NH State Rep – now, ACT like one and HONOR that oath and act in accordance to your promise, willya? Or is your word worth nothing at all? Or it is that are you willing to use your Power Inequality as a Rep to defund these simple volunteers trying to get the word out to their fellow townfolk? BMOC, much, Liz?  Throwing your political weight around for your own benefit in silencing those that had the temerity to post your voting record that puts you into a bad light?  Kinda spoiled your Narrative and your sidekick of the Brentwood Democrat Committe, eh?

HB1159 is right up your alley in noting what you’re doing to the Brentwood News – I take it you didn’t have the political courage to sign on as a Sponsor?  Or you just wish to continue in this half-stealth mode in trying to shut down your perceived political opponents, because of a political grudge, like the Brentwood Newsletter…

…or us?
