Horseplay, Heroes, and Hope

Who amongst us has never been on a horse? While no equestrian, I did once recklessly mount a big old horse roaming my grandfather’s apple orchard on his remote backcountry farm in Lunenburg, Vermont—way back when I was 11 or so.

From my Daughter-in-Law’s Facebook post on this issue that I just happened to screenshot:

NH World War II Museum Declares Itself a Gun-Free Zone

For many reasons these days, members of The Greatest Generation are likely rolling in their graves. Over the past few decades, the Left has infected our country with a blight of Socialism, Marxism and absolute anti-Americanism not seen since the early 1900s. WWII veterans gave their youth, their health and their lives to free us … Read more

Linda Rea Camarota – candidate for NH State House, Hillsborough County District 7 (Bedford)

Linda Rea Camarota - 1My name is Linda Rea Camarota and I am a Republican House Representative candidate running in Hillsborough District 7-Bedford. I am a long time Constitutional Conservative and Republican. I believe in local control, limited government, accountability and transparency.

There is a Primary in Bedford. I need my supporters to go out and vote for me on September 11 at the Bedford High School. After winning the Primary, I then need your support at the General Election on November 6.

My husband, Michael, and I have resided in Bedford for the past 30+ years. As a parent, I strive to protect children and, in that mission, I strongly advocate for parental rights. As a medical professional, I believe in protecting citizens’ privacy rights, including school-aged children. School safety is of special interest to me. I was on my high school’s Safety Committee for many years. For the past 3 years, I have attended the Annual Emergency Preparedness Conference to learn from the experts how to be proactive as it relates to school safety. Each year, sessions covered how to respond in instances such as an active shooter.

Democrats Celebrate Soviet Navy At Convention

Oh Yeah.  Those Democrats are all about the Military (and veterans)…just not the…um…US Military.

In what was supposed to be moving tribute to the military a large image portrayed behind those assembled on the dais of the Democrat National Convention displayed…Soviet Era War ships from the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

So Democrats have affirmed something we should have always known.   They like veterans…Soviet veterans.

Who’d have ever suspected that?

And they are (by their own admission) the smartest people in the room, in case you forgot.

NH Democrats Silent On Obama Death Toll

Afghanistan-War-Death-Toll mostly under Obama's watchCharacter matters.  Democrats have none.  For all their mewling about body counts, we’ve heard next to nothing (actually, nothing) about the brave men and women who have been wounded or killed fighting the Democrat parties rhetorical ‘Good War’ over in Afghanistan, since Obama has been in charge.

Under former President George W. Bush, 575 American soldiers died and fewer than 3,000 were wounded in Afghanistan. This means under Obama, at least 1,405 soldiers have died and nearly 15,000 additional soldiers have been wounded, which means 70% of the deaths  and nearly 80% of the injuries in Afghanistan have occurred under Obama’s watch.

(emphasis mine)

New Hampshire Democrats are on the hook for this…and not just that pair of  Hypocrat harpies running for congress, Carol-Ann-Shea-McKluster.

Shea-Porter’s Anti-Millitary Stand

Help myself...help myself...Blue Hampshire has a nice post about how Carol Seiu-Porter, the daughter of a WWII vet,  married to a former serviceman, stands up for veterans and the military. (I have synopsized.)

Well if that is true, then the minute she gets back to DC for her lame duck session I expect her to initiate an investigation into why states run by democrats have such a hard time getting absentee ballots out to military personnel in the field, and getting them back and counted in time to matter. This is a problem that has gone on for years without any notice or action by the democrats or their so-called military supporters.
