School Board
Reminder: Webinar This Week on How to Run for School Board in NH
We the People have a critical role to play in our children’s education. If you’re concerned about the poor quality of education in your local schools, if you oppose mandatory masking or disagree with “woke” indoctrination, or if you’re simply looking to get spending under control, then you may want to consider running for school board.
Segregation Returns to “Public Schools”
On Monday, I attended my first school board meeting for the Governor Wentworth Region School District in Wolfeboro. My husband and I arrived and found our way upstairs to the lecture hall where the meeting was held. At the door, I was asked to put on a mask.

According to the Multiple Listing Service, it went under agreement on October 12, 2021. The property is currently listed in the MLS as “pending.”
Brentwood School Board Member Inserts Her Foot In Her Mouth, Again!
Letty Bedard, a member of the Brentwood (SAU16) School Board, has made some pretty inflammatory comments. However, at a Selectmen’s meeting the other night, she chose to chastise a selectman because a picture he took made its way to a Granite Grok post.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum Teaches 13-Year Old’s to Have Sex and Advertise It!
Social-Emotional Learning is, as we’ve reported for years, another Ed scam designed to indoctrinate your kids. It’s a crapstorm. Look here if you want to check out some of what’s under the water on this iceberg. For today, we’ll keep it simple. SEL is teaching minors to have sex and to tell everyone about it.
A Local Example of the National Disgrace That School Boards Have Become – Parts 3, 4, & 5
School Board members generally hate Parents and voters and besides SAU16 in Exeter where Superintendent David Ryan has captured the Board members there, the Merrimack Valley School District School Board ranks high (perhaps Londonderry and Hanover are ahead but there is certainly lots of competition for this dubious title here in NH).

School Board’s Contempt and Ignorance Is Unacceptable
The responsibilities of the Laconia School Board are unenviable. Their constituents, at odds with Board decisions, are treated with thinly veiled contempt by some of the Board and their minions. Frustration could be relieved if the Board would act to understand.

Breaking: Another School District Says No To Mandatory Masks
I had the distinct displeasure of overhearing some of the live school board meeting in Bedford last night. It was on in the other room. The part I overheard was a series of close-to-tears mask-wearing fascists pleading for the Board to mandate masks. I’m happy to report they failed.
