A little over a year ago I set my mind to a task. What do I need to do to make GraniteGrok.com live up to the tagline I convinced Skip to paste at the top of every webpage on our site: “Dominating the Political Bandwidth in New Hampshire?”

- A website rebuild.
- A hugely improved mobile experience.
- Fill the massive information void left open to us by traditional media.
- Deliver more content more often.
We have done that.
We’ve leveraged social media and I’ve been sharing some content on more ideologically friendly Social Media platforms like MeWe, Codias, Minds, and Gab.
We are admittedly a few weeks behind on some current projects, but I can tell you that they are focused on expanding our reach within the state and there’s more to follow. Things to make the left verbally and physically incontinent. (spitting, sputtering, and spewing)
As a lead up to that, we are having an outstanding month. Exactly one week ago I announced how GraniteGrok had passed both Seacoast Online and Fosters.com to become the number two internet print media footprint on our Alexa Traffic Ranking list. In the days since then, our rank has improved every day. If this pace continues, we could pass Union Leader.com by this time next week.
Last week’s standings 7-16-2019.

I confess to being both surprised and humbled, not to mention feeling a strong desire to continue to find and share the content that has made this summer surge possible.
I look forward to sharing the news that we rose to number one, even if it is just for a day and to build on whatever positions in which we find ourselves (with your help!).
The goal is to secure the number one slot and then start a new list. To find ways to compete in a new arena. With radio and television websites like WMUR and WGIR. That is a huge order to fill. But if you don’t challenge yourself you’ll never figure out how to get there from here.
We accept the challenge. and we hope you’ll come along for the ride.
