Amy Coney Barrett has been nominated by President Trump to replace the now deceased Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The attacks have begun, and Barrett’s faith is under fire. She is a staunch Catholic, which the Democrats despise.
“I am almost finished making you, except for inserting one last gene,” says God to man. “Yes Lord, can’t wait to get on my way,” replies man. “Now, since I like you, I will give you a choice in this very important last component.
“When will Democrats and Republicans finally get along in Washington, D.C.?” The short answer is that they won’t because there is a fundamental issue that lies right in front of the American people that many refuse to acknowledge. This is a fight between good and evil.
Today’s attacks from the left are against two of America’s most essential values. Those values are faith and family. These two essential pillars serve as stabilizing factors in any society. The attacks on faith and family seem to be relentless.
First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
For Us to Have Faith in Our Government, They Must Also Have Faith in We the People Do you have faith in your government? Any level at all? And DO you think Government trusts you? Any level at all? (H/T: RedState)
I’ve said for years that kids shouldn’t be involved in politics on either side of the aisle and when politicians and partisans do so (e.g., elementary kids marching with signs for one argument or another and you KNOW they haven’t a clue). All they’re doing is using kids as political pawns and its wrong. The … Read more
The war on Judeo-Christian faith, like the war on families and marriage, is about knocking down barriers to Marxism.I articulated it well enough here, so I won’t repeat those points. But they apply to this topic. A pastor has been charged with hate speech for preaching near homosexuals.
Remember, the Left has already made it QUITE clear that they don’t care what we think or what we believe. It doesn’t matter, for instance, that the Constitutions (both NH and US) have parts to them that protect our Right to Freedom of Expression, the Right to Free Speech, and the Right of Conscious. Yet, … Read more
YOU CAN JUDGE A TV PROGRAM’S AUDIENCE BY ITS ADVERTISERS, so what does it tell us that the first ad I saw on the CNN Democratic presidential debates was “Ron Reagan, lifelong atheist,” on behalf of the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
Cornerstone Action has a piece out this morning for parents and students to help get them ready to go back to school. It addresses your child’s right to religious freedom.
Merrimack voters take note – this is how your elected Democrat representatives really think of you! When I read Grokster Ed’s post on NH State Rep Wendy Thomas (D-Merrimack)‘s tweets on the Trump Rally, I wasn’t really surprised at most of them. She a far Left Progressive; expected from her. But one of her pics … Read more
I run into so many parents who ask me what they can do to reach their children. That’s a tough question, considering I don’t have kids. However, I was once a child (some might still say I am).
I decided to review the comments that Steve alluded to on the “not a word but just a socially awkward boffin and a topless SJW” 2014 Top post because, well, because I can – it amused me. And this popped up: Which didn’t amuse me at all because of what it has become. No, Joe … Read more

Is the culture, led by the MSM and other cultural “elites”, anti-Christian? Seems to be, when one reviews how denigrated Tebow has become these last couple of years – simply for being a man of faith, giving credit to a higher power than himself, professing a traditional sense of faith, and sticking to set of morals that, at best, is considered “prudish”. With all that, we have seen how intolerant the tolerant Left truly has become to traditional mores. Expressing them publicly gets you knocked down – by those, perhaps, that realize that they do not measure up (either can’t or decide to go “the low road”)? No, I don’t mean to be “holier than thou” – I do wish to point out that those holding to values other than what is in the current popular culture are always in for a hard time. Winning two national championships and the Heisman should a concentration on what he has accomplished in his field. Instead, he has been skewered for his faith.
Tesha has a habit of saying things in such a way that I’d be censoring her a lot (here’s a screen cap):
“The Catholic Church in a powerful force in Maine so when the men in dresses who f*** little altar boys told their parishoners[sic] that gay marriage was wrong and a sin, the rubes in the pews believed it and voted as they had been told”
Nice sentiment there, Jan. It doesn’t stop there, either – keep going downward and she has a hit against Islam / Muslims too!
Seems like Jan Schmidt (aka “Tesha“) is a rather opinionated person – and not always all that civil about it. No, I’m not talking meeting the normal “Blogosphere is still the Wild Wild West” variety – it seems that in many cases, that would actually be taking the High Road.
And she is running to be a NH House Rep from Nashua. I wonder if voters in Nashua understand this? If not, I’m willing to oblige. She has a “handle” by the name of Tesha at the Democratic Underground site. On the Right side of the Blogosphere, we just refer to them as the DUmmies. Trite, but we do manage to stay out of the gutter – the DUmmies? It is not known as a circle of highbrow discourse, to put it bluntly. Oft times, I’m not sure who gets dirtier – the participants there or the swine in a stockyard.
That’s a picture of her and Mr. Tesha on the right side of the pic (from DU, where she posts A LOT!). It seems she’s a software code pounder; he is thesame.
So I started a food blog … I know there are a gazillion out there but this isn’t for fame or fortune, it’s for my daughters. They’re in their mid 30’s and I still get the desperate call just around dinner time… “Mom, how do you…?” or “Do you remember that thing you used to make…?”
I’m listening to Michael Graham on the way home last night. It is at most a 15 minute drive so there isn’t much exposure to the program and I frequently tune in in the middle of some topic. Last night I caught part of a segment on Tim Tebow, the sudden attention he has attracted, and of course his faith.
One caller in particular caught my ear, not based on his feelings about Tebow but due to his complete lack of understanding about the nature of faith, and in this case Tebow’s public expression of it. The caller kept saying that he thought it was a bit goofy because there was no way God would really care about the NFL or the outcome of a football game. So his understanding of Tebow’s faith relationship was limited to a supernatural interest in sports and Tebow seeking divine intervention to affect an outcome in his favor.
I think I would have to agree…that God is not betting on the Broncos. But then that is probably not what Tebow is praying for.
Nothing they say today will matter tomorrow. And this applies to their policies as well. We see this in the bald faced contradictions of their own words and ideas; their disregard for anything that slows their accumulation of power. And they will do and say anything to hold power because they are spiritually empty, disconnected–hoping power will somehow complete them.
