It is difficult to find something Donald Trump has said, done, or suggested that Democrats have not contradicted or equated with impending doom. It’s so bad that there jokes about asking The Donald to oppose the Second Amendment or support abortion so we can watch Democrats reflexively do the opposite.
When was the last time you heard about another “immigrant” caravan headed up to or through Mexico? April 2019, give or take. What happened? Trump happened.

The US House voted 377-48 to approve a new National Defense Authorization Act. The ‘troops’ get a 3.1% raise. It allows some transfer of available defense funding for border security priorities. And it creates a new branch of the American Military. The US Space Force.
Eddie Edwards lost to Chris Pappas in the 2018 mid-term congressional election. It was the first race in a long while in NH CD-1, where we didn’t have a Guinta or a Shea-Porter from which to choose. But as January approaches Edwards has not signaled a public interest in a do-over.
The Associated Press has reports coming out about slaughter near the Texas-Mexican border. It says Mexican security forces killed seven more members of a cartel assault force. Apparently the assault force rolled into a town near the Texas border.
