Pennsylvania Court Orders That Democrats Can Engage in Three-Days of Post-Election Voting … Is New Hampshire Next?

September 18, 2020 Ed Mosca

So I came across a Politico article via RealClearPolitics titled Pennsylvania Supreme Court extends state’s mail ballot deadline. Ballots with a pre-election postmark MUST now be accepted up to three days after the election. But pre-election postmark does NOT mean what you think it means. Ballots that bear NO postmark are assumed to be pre-election … Read more

A September Surge in Coronavirus in N.H. Finds no Surge in the Disease

September 18, 2020 Op-Ed

There was big coronavirus news for New Hampshire this week, and most of the media missed it. At his Thursday press conference, Gov. Chris Sununu displayed a graphic (pictured below) showing that the average number of coronavirus tests per day has more than doubled since mid-August.

Some Money Should Follow Some Students

September 18, 2020 Ian Underwood

When discussing school choice, a phrase you hear a lot is some version of ‘the money should follow the student’ (as opposed to being allocated to a school). This is often followed by assurances that not every family will take advantage of whatever program is being proposed, so it won’t lead to the destruction of the public school system.

Joe Biden Returns to Old Lies and the Media Lets Him Get Away with It

September 18, 2020 Steve MacDonald

Joe Biden had run for president before and failed miserably each time (less than 4% of the primary vote). He would have failed this time, too, except that he was the only mule (or donkey) the Dems could sell as something other than an insane Marxist sympathizer.

DISQUS Doodlings – Just Putting Republicans into Those Seats is Insufficient

September 18, 2020 Skip

Sigh. Once again, we see an instance of what I call the Republican Republicans’ for the Sake of the Republican Party (“RRftSofRP”). I don’t consider myself the brightest bulb in the lot; just an ordinary schlub from Central New Hampsha.

New Hampshire Needs to Repeal this Now Unconstitutional Remnant of Anti-Religious Bigotry

September 18, 2020 Op-Ed

In part one, A Landmark Supreme Court Decision Relating to School Choice and Education Freedom – I discussed several U.S. Supreme Court cases leading up to the recent Espinoza v Montana Department of Revenue.

Boston Sports, Brady, Belichick, NFL, Protests, Trump, and Anarchy

September 18, 2020 Steve MacDonald

The NFL is taking a ratings hit. Fans are tired of well-paid players gifted with the American Experiment’s rewards, siding with Marxist cop-killing homewreckers (BLM). And while not everyone who suits up agrees or makes millions, the averages are above average.

If You are That Scared Stay Home – We Can Run the World Without You

September 18, 2020 Steve MacDonald

Nothing says police state quite like neighbors or customers snitching to the local constabulary about this or that perceived slight. In the age of COVID, this manifests as a failure to adequately mask or distance or some other fear-mongered incidentals such as OCD-like purification rituals improperly performed.

Joe Biden’s Promise to Defund Charter Schools

September 18, 2020September 18, 2020

America is beginning to see a clearer picture of what Biden’s America would look like. Going to Leftist policies means less choice, and it certainly means higher taxes. We’ll pay more and get less. But we will all be the same whether we are or aren’t.

COVID vs. FLU … Children Ages 0 – 17.

September 17, 2020 Ed Mosca

This: So why are New Hampshire public schools taking more precautions for COVID, which kills far less school-age children than the seasonal flu, than for the seasonal flu? Rhetorical question, of course. Sununu is fully invested in COVID-hysteria (he even has an ad talking about how he is ready for a “second wave”). And Dan … Read more

NH GOP Amos Tuck Reception – South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem

September 17, 2020 Skip

Gov. Noem used to be US Representative Kristi Noem but returned home and won election as Governor. She became famous in Conservative Republican circles for her handling of this COVID-19 pandemic for doing EXACTLY opposite what most other Governors were doing – basing her governance on Constitutional values:

Support for Defunding Police: Is it Helpful to Our Situation?

September 17, 2020September 17, 2020

Is support for defunding police helpful to our situation? The “Unity Task Force” produced policy document calls for banning “racial profiling” in criminal apprehensions. The authors know big city police departments are predominantly made up of minorities. But these, racial profiling etc…, are all concepts and code words. This is the language of the Left/BLM/Islamist … Read more

On the idea that if our elected representatives are negotiating contracts with groups of government employees, they should be public.

Dark Money Action is Unaccountable

September 17, 2020

Dark money action is constant and ongoing. It will not cease unless and until we make changes in what we are willing to tolerate. People like to find ways to control others. That is what power is all about. Doing so without letting people know who is doing it is dangerous. One side of the … Read more

DISQUS Doodlings – Kudos to the 47 Republican Reps that Refused to be Assimilated by the Democrats

September 17, 2020September 17, 2020 Skip

Once again, New Hampshire Democrats try their hand at “Freedom Shaming” against those resolutely refusing to be assimilated by the Ray Buckley Borg (a Star Trek reference for the uninitiated).

All of NH Governor Chris Sununu’s 22 Vetoes Upheld by the NH House

September 17, 2020 Steve MacDonald

There were not nearly as many vetoes from Governor Sununu this session as last, but then there were. One Omnibus piece of legislation was a trash can bill stuffed with some 40 odds and ends the Democrats wanted pushed through the COVID fearmongering amended legislative session.

Where are the Police? Crime is up People are Unhappy.

September 17, 2020 Steve MacDonald

Where are the Police? That is the question of the hour in Minneapolis. The city has made itself an object lesson in Democrat leadership or lack thereof. Minneapolis is the home of the late George Floyd. After his death the all Democrat Minneapolis City Council went on the political offensive.

Touting Plans for a ‘Harris Administration’

Democrat Primary Voters Didn’t Like Harris But She’s Effectively their Nominee for President

September 17, 2020 Steve MacDonald

The VP nominee is touting plans for a ‘Harris Administration’. Gaffe, faux pax, or stumble, it does make you stop and think. Almost everyone is speculating VP nominee Harris is going to take the Oval Office if the Dems win the general election.

Columbia University Marching Band Cancels Itself ‘cuz Racism

September 17, 2020September 17, 2020 Steve MacDonald

College Marching bands are offensive, mostly becasue they are made up of dopey #woke college students, but this is taking that to a whole new level. The Columbia University Marching band had a meeting and voted to cancel itself.
