We’ve even got rising global CO2 for bait, and yet still, there have been no sightings. That hasn’t stopped the parade of predictions even when confronted with this inconvenient truth:
Christian Teacher Refuses to Use Transgender Students Pronoun – Gets Fired
A Teacher in Virginia has been fired for refusing to use a students “new” pronoun. The devout Christian explains that he can’t refer to a male as female or a female as male. Instead, he simply avoided the pronoun altogether. This, the student claims, made them uncomfortable.

A story of pot when the taxes paid for pleasure end up enlarging Government. Which, here in NH, has been the reason why the Democrats have pushed for a casino (or two). Not for the sake of letting a corporation separate one’s money from one’s wallet – it has always been about Government demanding money from that corporation for…..well, Government doing nothing with respect to “value added”.
Same thing with pot but with MUCH higher margins – for Government for doing…..well, nothing again for “value added”. So now you know why the NH Democrat Party has instituted a plank calling for decriminalization of it (and as mentioned before, a two-fer: those buying pot legally under NH law will no longer be able to buy guns as pot is still Federally illegal). Smoke pot, no Second Amendment for you!

First Amendment Rights in School District Governance
The SDGA holds that the preexisting Rights enumerated in the First Amendment are sacrosanct and must never be infringed upon even in difficult situations such as we see taking place with the Manchester School Board (“MSB”). We speak of MSB members castigating another member for using the District’s email system in factually correcting an 18 year old student’s Op-ed that criticized the current teacher contract negotiations that was published both the student newspaper and an outside media website.
We side with the First Amendment in all cases – it is what distinguishes America from almost all other nations in allowing the free flow of ideas without Government coercion. It either holds true in all cases or merely becomes a privilege doled out by those in power – which the MSB members seemingly are doing. Thus, we speak out in defense of Rachel Phelan’s Right to Free Speech in her right to criticize the MSB’s efforts during this contract negotiation.

‘Stunning’: 80% using Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion are ineligible, Louisiana report finds
Louisiana’s legislative auditor wanted to know how the state’s expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare was doing, so he picked 100 people who were deemed eligible under the rules. He found that 82 of them made so much money that they shouldn’t have qualified for the benefits they received. Auditor Daryl G. Purpera, who issued his findings last month to little fanfare outside of Louisiana, figured if those statistics hold true for the rest of the expanded Medicaid population in his state, then the losses to ineligible beneficiaries could be as high as $85 million.
And how large is 80% is the NH Medicaid Expansion population? That would be 40,000 – and millions of wasted and fraudful (to coin a word) money. “Oh, but it’s not NH money!” exclaim

Update, 3:25 p.m.: Secretary of State Bill Gardner has been re-elected to another term by the New Hampshire House and Senate. Gardner prevailed over Colin Van Ostern 209-205, with one “scatter” vote. With 415 legislators present and voting (House and Senate combined), 208 votes were needed for victory. Vote was by secret ballot.
