College Republicans Prove Millennials are Behind the Republican Party
Manchester, NH – Today, the New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans (NHFCR) convened at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) for their second annual State of the NHFCR Address. At the Address, Chapter Chairmen from across the Granite State give updates about their chapter’s achievements and goals for the upcoming semester. State Chairman Dan Passen follows the Chapter reports with a Federation report. Former Republican Congressional nominees Eddie Edwards and Steve Negron were also present. State Chairman Dan Passen stated the following after the Address has concluded:
“Today, College Republicans in the Granite State showed up to prove a point. For too long, the Democrats have claimed ownership of the millennial generation. Today, we stood up and said enough is enough. Millennials believe in the Republican message and thrive within the policies of small government and individual responsibilities. As nearly 50 College Republicans attended, with finals week beginning this upcoming Monday for many of our members, it is clear that we believe in the Republican Party and believe in the values of the Granite State. The results of the 2018 election have not discouraged us, but instead have motivated us. We will come back even stronger in 2020.”
Dan Passan’s (NHFCR State Chair) address:
State of the NHFCR Address Speech: We care, and we care deeply
Good morning, everyone! I thank all of you for coming out this morning, especially with finals week right within our midst. Seeing how full this room is, it is clear to me how dedicated and serious College Republicans are and how badly we want to see Republican victories here in the Granite State and beyond. I also want to thank our guest speakers, Steve Negron and Eddie Edwards, for being here today. Both Steve and Eddie have been integral players in our organization’s success and it is an honor to have them here.
The speeches that our Chapter Chairmen have given this morning have been phenomenal and show just how strong the College Republicans are here in the Granite State. I am so pleased by all of the hard-work that our College Republicans have been doing this year and I am ecstatic to see what they do in the future…
