Why are the illuminated Establishment political lights in the NHGOP and GOP, several of whom should know better, pitching a cultural Marxist progressive issues “tent” in front of legislators and elected Republican Delegates when the electorate is more interested in expanding jobs, protecting tax reform, economic growth, and national security issues with a local impact like the opioid crisis?

“Republican Gov. Chris Sununu said he will sign the recently passed bill” – The public accommodation provision (of HB1319) was a bridge too far for me and many others. Shame on those that could not support a commonsense measure that would have respected the right of privacy. This is not about equality, but a capitulation to stupidity.
I won’t bother reexplaining my position, should it matter you can refer to an article I wrote. If you are a running for office, please do not bother asking for my support, vote, or endorsement, unless you have made a public statement against this idiocy. If you are a candidate running for office who has already received my endorsement, please make a public statement condemning this folly, or consider my endorsement withdrawn.

HB 587 is on its way to Governor Sununu’s desk. It could strip professional licensing from any counselor whose words to a gender-questioning child are deemed insufficiently supportive of gender reassignment. That’s the absurd vagueness of this so-called “conversion therapy” bill.
Last week Republican MEN decided to pass House Bill 1319 (HB 1319) aka the Gender Identity bill in order to allow biological men who ‘feel’ like women to gain access to women-only sex-segregated spaces. Apparently, the feelings of these biological men are far more important than the women whose spaces they will be allowed to occupy.
Of course, women have been using women-only spaces like bathrooms with trans women for years without a problem but an out-of-state multi-millionaire wanted to use Republicans as an experiment to see how many moron Republicans it takes to push legislation that infringes upon Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion and women’s rights.
Could the state take a child away from a parent who does not want the child to receive cross-sex hormones and amputation of healthy body parts? An Ohio court has told us the answer: yes.
When transgender identity is treated as a non-elective medical procedure, that’s where the child welfare and legal systems inevitably lead.

Religious liberty continues to be the theme this week as we wonder about first amendment rights and ask simple questions like, before you make us have transgender bathrooms plant a few in Deerbornistan. Then, at least, we’ll know you are serious.
Part of the joy of defending disinterested citizens from the wolves of the always-on political machine of modern-government is untwisting the machine language used to snooker the sleeping giant. A great example is the recent kerfuffle over the politics of transgenders using public bathrooms, and not just in public schools.
Only the twisted Liberal Identify Politics Culture could create a problem like this.
