We Need A Governor Who Will Trust the Free People of Her State With Their Own Lives and Livelihoods

School Union Bosses Are Holding Your Children’s Future Hostage
With fewer than four weeks remaining before school begins, union bosses, school administrative units (SAUs), and school boards seem to be conspiring to hold the school year hostage at the price of our children’s future.
We Need a New Declaration of Independence
Early Americans criticized their king’s rule with the memorable slogan “no taxation without representation” and decried His Majesty’s efforts to suspend their legislatures, altering fundamentally the forms of their government by imposing an arbitrary power structure instead.
ReopenNH – Independence Day Celebration at State House
EAST DERRY, N.H.—With many communities around the state canceling traditional Independence Day celebrations, parades, and fireworks displays on July 4 this year for spurious reasons, ReopenNH is calling all patriots to celebrate American liberty together at the New Hampshire State House from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
After Multiple Reopen Protests – No Spike in Infections or COVID19 Cases (So, ReopenNH, Dammit!)
It’s been over two months since ReopenNH held its first protest. At the time, the lockdown-left lost their minds. Not only were people peacefully protesting while openly displaying firearms, they were refusing to live in fear. No distancing, maskless, engaging with other human beings in conversation. The horror!
Vermont to Allow Indoor Dining Begining Monday
It’s hard to believe Vermont continues to be ahead of us on this. Their Republican Gov. (Phil Scott) would typically make Chris Sununu look a lot more ‘Republica.’ But Gov. Scott is already opening indoor dining. Beginning Monday, Restaurants will be able to seat to 25% of capacity.
Huge Majority Does Not Want Sununu to Extend NH’s State of Emergency (Poll is Still Open)
The Governor’s Emergency Order extension ends in a week. Are we done? Have we had enough? Or do you believe he should extend it for another three weeks? One day in, where do we stand?
“That’s Big Government For You:” Racetrack Won’t Open After AG Threats
Under threat of the state’s attorney general, the Riverside Speedway in Northumberland will not open to the public this weekend, after having opened for business over Memorial Day. “[U]nfortunately, big government is going to win again,” Riverside Speedway said in a Facebook post. “[A]s a family, we have decided to sit this weekend, May 30, … Read more
We’re on a Frightening Path of Injustice
Science and experience have demonstrated that governments worldwide overreacted to the COVID-19 threat and perpetuated misleading information to manipulate the public and consolidate power.
Sununu: If there are businesses that are kind of thwarting the guidance, we usually hear about It.
According to this headline, “As More N.H. Businesses Violate Emergency Orders, Sununu Cautions Against ‘Snitching.‘ “It’s a good headline. I clicked on it. Then I read it. And it’s accurate as far as it goes, but it never goes very far.
Nashua Anti-Mask Mandate Protest: Fewer Masks. More Hugs.
On short notice, about 50 people gathered in the plaza in front of Nashua City Hall to protest the ordinance passed 9-3 by the Nashua Board of Aldermen that requires masks to be worn in all businesses in the city to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Comrade Andru Volinsky – Where’s Your Proof?
In a May 19th letter to the Union Leader, New Hampshire Executive Councilor and Democrat candidate for Governor Andru Volinsky makes a casual aside. He implies without providing any evidence that some of the #ReopenNH protesters are paid.
So Tim Sink ain’t happy with NH protesters that want to reopen the State
I wonder how many of his small biz members either already have or will soon be kaput if re-opening takes two or MORE months to accomplish? Or are they just “collateral damage”? Yet, while many of us are correctly upset that our Constitutional Rights and its values are being rent asunder, a constant theme of … Read more
603 Alliance Editorial: It’s Time to Reopen New Hampshire
[The following editorial is presented on behalf of the 603 Alliance Board of Directors.]
New Hampshire’s “stay at home order” was issued on March 16th. Over two months later, we continue to face serious restrictions that limit our ability to earn a living, that restrain our freedom of assembly, and that restrict our right to worship as we see fit.
Has the Government “Blowed-Up” Your NH Job or Business? We want to Know
John Klar at American Thinker is thinking about the death knell for thousands of jobs in Vermont. COVID-19 may have killed 55 people (if that’s what killed them), but many thousands of livelihoods are on the line in the Green Mountain State, which got me thinking. Is anyone keeping track of the Granite State?
Nashua Public Health: ‘Yes’ to masks. ‘No’ to ice cream.
Mayor Jim Donchess and some Nashua aldermen have expressed a desire to mandate the wearing of masks in Nashua businesses, on penalty of a fine, to slow the spread of COVID-19.
“If we rush to appease one part of the state or one constituency, we really put everyone else at risk.”
Governor Sununu is sticking to his “Public Health Trumps Everything” mantra as we continue our new lives as political prisoners. And to justify not rushing back to normal, the Boston Herald quotes Flununu as saying, “If we rush to appease one part of the state or one constituency, we really put everyone else at risk.”
Emergency order will standardize clothing sizes
A source in Governor Sununu’s office has indicated that an emergency order will be issued in the next few days, setting a single size for pants, and another for shoes, to be adopted by all clothing retailers and wholesalers, thrift stores, tailors and other alteration services, dry cleaners, and laundromats throughout New Hampshire.
Hey, New Hampshire, Do you want two more months of lockdown?
Thank you to everyone who showed up at our Rally to Live Free last Saturday, May 2. We had a great event, with at least 500 people delivering the 5,300 petitions we signed to the governor. Unfortunately, the governor isn’t listening yet. We will need to keep up the pressure, and in fact, we will need to turn it up a notch, or ten.
Poll Results – How Soon Should We Open New Hampshire?
We’re back in the poll business, and for our first poll, we asked the question on everyone’s mind. How soon should we reopen New Hampshire? We asked you answered, and here are the results.
