Former Democrat Congressman Paul Hodes Considers State Senate Run in New Hampshire

Former Congressman Paul Hodes was a reliable Pelosi ally who tried for a bite at a bigger apple. He ran for US Senate and lost to Kelly Ayotte. Now that Dirty Dan Feltes is running for Governor his state senate seat is open and Paul ‘Hot Dog’ Hodes has his eye on it.

Applying the Kavanaugh/Covington Standard to Ray Buckley …

We have a new standard in politics. Even things you said and did in high school are now fair game. Let’s call it the Kavanaugh/Covington standard. Democrats attempted to block Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the United States Supreme Court with last-minute, lurid accusations regarding his high-school days. These accusations included that he attempted to sexually … Read more

Matt House

Want to Play ‘House?’

Another creep leaves Sen. Democrat Chucky Schumer’s inside circle. This time, Matt House, a communications staffer. Who happens to have New Hampshire Connections. So, what do you suppose Matt House is accused of doing? If you guessed pressing himself on young staffers that isn’t fair. Most aids of top Democrats who suddenly leave their coveted … Read more

There is a reason Obama didn’t want Obamacare really implemented until after the election

Just got this via email – names taken off to protect the screwed: I just got my Open Enrollment Package from my company’s Human Resources Dept. I guess I should have been more aware of how Obamacare will impact me on 1/1/13. Well my paycheck will be significantly smaller. Not only did my health and … Read more

Obamacare and the IRS – such a cute couple

So much for Democrats wanting to protect your privacy – I guess, like all of the anti-war protesters when Bush was President, the privacy advocates have all gone silent in support of The Won.  It just goes to show that for almost all Progressives, it’s all for show – if they truly believed in what they have told us, they’d be marching on DC.  Much time and energy has been spent on the Individual Mandate and the IPAB (aka “the death panels”).  Well, here’s a part that I didn’t know – or realize:

The IRS will also determine who is eligible for taxpayer-financed subsidies to purchase health care on the exchanges that will be set up in every state. Anytime anyone’s situation changes — a raise, a new job, a move to another state — that person will be required to report it to the IRS for the purpose of recalculating their eligibility.

Got that??  Generally when you have a serious change in life, and you have to report that event to…Mom.  Or Dad.  Or some other loved one or friends.

So, what have the Democrats wrought here?  That’s right – just ONE MORE STEP in having Government be your family (like it or not).  So, how’s that gonna feel – literally having a brand new Big Brother (again, brought to you by Democrats as not one Republican voted for this Liberty crushing, 2700 page fiasco.  Why is it beginning to feel like it should be called not Obamacare but ObamaBigBrother or ObamaJail ?  How’s it feel to now know that the IRS is now an intimate member of your family?  Now that you’ve gone “all growed up”, Democrats like President Obama and Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH)  and (at the time of Obamacare passage) Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) and Hodes(D-NH) decided that you STILL needed a set of parents – and they thought it just a dandy idea that it be the folks that “touch” you every April 15th (there has to be a Democrat joke in there somewhere…)

S.3307 The Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act…Guess Who Voted for It?

Michelle Obama Minister of crappy public school lunches
Eat that spinach…Eat it!

S.3307 (2010) is the legislation that empowered the Feds to regulate local school lunches. It is the regulation that is driving up the cost of school lunches by law because the law demands parity of price regardless of cost. It is the law that limits the number of calories and other nutritional elements to a national standard, regardless of a student’s size or activity level. It is the law that limits menu choices to those defined by the central government, choices kids are rejecting in large numbers, resulting in food being wasted. (Food that costs more because of the law.)

Kids are hungry. High School Athletes are under-nourished. They don’t like or want the food being forced on them. Black markets are forming to fill the need. And food is being wasted.

Let’s face it, Hungry kids do not make good students. This law is a turd sandwich.

So who among the New Hampshire Delegation voted for this crappy central planning nightmare? How about all of them.

US House kills TARP

I’d be interested to hear the rhetoric from Political consultant and former congressman Paul Hodes who claimed he was against TARP but voted to spend paid back TARP funds on other left-wing stimuli.

Paul Hodes – Lobbyist?

The Concord Monitor is reporting that Paul Hodes has started a business consultancy. This will have him back and forth to Washington DC for the purpose of connecting northern New England to Washington DC; a lateral move from his role as congressman when he was trying to sign New Hampshire away to Washington DC.

Run Democrats Run!! (Video updated)

Democrats like to tuck tail and run. The most recent example comes to us from Wisconsin as all the States democrat senators abdicated their elected duty and crossed state lines to hide from a vote

“Retard” Makes A Comeback

In a moment of honesty, John Gage, the head of the American Federation of Government Employees Union (AFGE), calls elected officials who want to cut government pay “Mentally Retarded.”

Show me the Tax cut

All those years of left wing class warfare about cuts for the rich but none for the rest of us we’re liberal lies. Plain and simple. You can’t extend something that does not exist.

Fun With Paul And Carol

Anyone know if Paul ‘Sugar Daddy’ Hodes and Carol Seiu-Porter have decided to raise taxes yet?  That’s what that is you know?  If they allow any existing cuts to expire, they are raising taxes. Now I realize our liberal friends don’t see it that way.   They look at it like this.  Since 2003/2005 the … Read more

Progressive Trade Rules

Being beholden to unions causes you to say and do stupid things.  Take Carol Shea-Porter for example.  She was against a trade deal with Panama because she claimed it would cost American jobs, when it would actually open up trade from us to them–they already had unfettered access; result?–it would have created American jobs. Provisions … Read more

Lynch-Marched To Who Knows Where

Lynch Destroyed Jobs, Scared off workersNH Employment Services has released its October report for the most recent New Hampshire jobs data and it’s not good for John Lynch.  The state continues to lose its human capital.  The granite state shed another 360 workers in August to parts unknown as the post ‘end of the recession’ exodus of our civilian workforce rose to 16,550.  So from July 2009 to Aug 2010, 16,550 people gave up looking for work in John Lynch’s New Hampshire, ‘Lynch-Marched’ right out of our local job market. That doesn’t happen in a healthy pro job-growth environment.  If John Lynch and the democrats were really doing their political ‘best’ the Civilian work force would be rising as people felt compelled to come here to look for work because more business and industry though of New Hampshire as a business friendly environment.  But it’s not.  It’s hostile.

Ok, Like, This Is Me On The defict, Eh.

In twenty months the democrats have added $3,039,049,594,342.88 dollar deficit. (That’s trillions). That’s more debt than the entire history of America from its founding to 1990.

Hodes Nabbed For Push Poll

The big news this morning is that the democrats are eating crow.  Yes, after all the caterwauling about Republican complaints over a push-poll conducted for the Hodes campaign–which they were unwilling to admit they commissioned, or that it was even a push poll–has resulted in a fine of $20,000.00 against the firm that conducted the poll, and an admission by the Hodes campaign that they did pay the company to conduct the poll for which they were fined.

The Union leader reports that Mountain West Research has agreed to pay a $20,000.00 fine for violating New Hampshire state law by conducting a push-poll against Kelly Ayotte.

The ambassadors from Hodesistan have admitted to paying to have the poll done but still refuse to acknowledge that it was in fact, a push poll.  Sounds like bitter clinging to me.

It was a push poll.  So did you know it was a push poll?  Of course you did.

Fiskal Konservative

…a diarist from the Daily KoS, expects you to believe that he is actually been undercover, hiding so far up under the left wing, that he would be permitted to keep and maintain a diary at the Daily KoS.

Are Hodes And Shea-Porter on the Communist Payroll?

A prominent talk radio host brings up an interesting point.  The democrats have spent trillions in the past two years, driving the deficit over 3.5 Trillion (from that irresponsible 400 Billion Bush left behind) with roughly a trillion of that money borrowed from the Chinese government.  That’s a trillion sent to the US treasury, which … Read more

Hodes’ Foreign Money

But since the democrats are actually getting more foreign money than Republicans already, (here) would it matter if Paul Hodes had taken money from PAC’s with foreign donors directly into his campaign? He’d be spending it right here in New Hampshire to, how did he phrase it? affect local elections.

Not Even A Passable Fraud

Matt has a nice post up at Red Hampshire revealing the disconnect between reality and the fantasy of Paul Hodes.  He provides us with a mid-debate tweet from the Hodes campaign…

Credit: Red Hampshire

…and then offers us the evidence that Hodes is lying about it by posting the AFT press release refuting Hodes.

This is all fine for what it is worth.   But what interests me more is that this tweet contradicts his own campaign focus and reveals the fundamental flaws of a liberal democrat like Paul Hodes.  These are not the words of any fiscal conservative I know.
