Most of our readers understand why government-run healthcare (like Medicare for All) is a bad idea. But they may not feel as if they can confidently explain it to someone else. Rep. Dan Crenshaw to the rescue.

Democrat’s “Equality Act” Could Force Physicians to ‘Do Harm’
HR 5 is sold as an equality act. If by equality you mean suppress or compel speech, sure. How about destroying girls sports by forcing schools to let boys compete against them? Then, yes! Ending religious liberty? Alrighty, then! And now there’s this.
Proof: “CNN is not a news outlet, it’s a super PAC running unregulated campaign ads 24 hours a day”
Tucker Carlson has a great piece you can find here in which he proves that CNN as nothing more than an unregulated super PAC for the Democrat party. His proof? Collusion died over the weekend. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi immediately pivoted to health care. And so did CNN.
The Single-Payer Party
In a previous post, I considered the question: How can people who prefer safety to freedom coexist with people who prefer freedom to safety? The former are always going to be tempted to accomplish their goals by gaining control of the levers of government, in order to force the latter to go along with their agenda.
But what if they could get what they want, without doing that? Because they surely can, if they’ll just do one simple thing.
Fact: More American’s Getting Health Care Coverage Under Trump and Republicans
Democrat’s have been swearing up and down the campaign trail that Republicans are destroying Health Care. But, like most of the words that pass between the lips of those crowding the political left, it just ain’t so. Under President Trump and the Republican Congress more American’s have health coverage and health care options. The total number of Americans with health … Read more
New Hampshire Take Note: The Path to Healthcare Freedom is Shorter Than You Think
New Hampshire used to be ‘owned’ by railroads, or so the story goes. These days it’s the hospital/insurance cartels. Their influence shapes policy in Concord and buys votes from elected officials and even officeholders whose eyes wander toward DC.
Money talks and the Cartel’s got a lot of it.
But Iowa and Florida just put new laws in force that creates options for doctors and patients looking to put the free market to work on health care costs, and New Hampshire should take a look.
Heartless Maggie Hassan Has No Moral Authority on Health Care
The Democrat junior Senator from New Hampshire, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s mini-me, is parroting the party talking points on health care as instructed.

Testosterone, Health Care, And Concealed Carry
Obamacare is a disaster but are NH Republicans willing to expand Medicaid so that a likely Republican Governor wont have to deal with it if elected in 2016? We also continue the conversation on the drug database, the upward cost curve of insurance and care thanks to ObamaCare, and a case involving Massachusetts police officers … Read more

Elitist Ruling Class One-Percenter, Jeanne Shaheen’s “Das Hospital!”
New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen almost sounds as if she has traded her copy of Karl Marx’ Das Kapital for Adam Smiths ‘Wealth of Nations.’ She actually said, “...people who are willing to pay more, that they have that option of going to their doctor and hospital no matter what.“
I’m a Doctor, You’re a Doctor, He’s a Doctor….
…She’s a Doctor, wouldn’t you like to be a doctor too?
You might be a doctor and you didn’t even know it, because that is how you solve a doctor shortage caused by oppressive legislation in the peoples Republik of (in this case) Kalifornia. Not enough “Doctors”… change the definition of doctor and Bam! Problem solved.
As a result of Obamacare and its expansion of coverage to millions, many states will begin to experience doctor shortages. California is dealing with this problem by redefining who is a “doctor.”
State lawmakers are working on legislation that would permit physician assistants and nurse practitioners to set up independent practices. Pharmacists and optometrists could now act as “primary care” providers.
Dots Progressives Can’t Connect?
Every year United Health Foundation releases a report on America’s Health Rankings. This is a state by state assessment, and every year New Hampshire is one of the healthiest places in the nation to live. Last year we were ranked second, this year third, but always in the top three or four.
The two states that beat us are the two that always seem to, Vermont and Hawaii. Hawaii was number one this year, Vermont number two. And I was wondering why? Was there a wide range of separation or just one or two core measures where the reported difference was so wide as to keep New Hampshire down?
Prediction: Obama Campaign Will Try To…
I was just thinking about this. We’ve not seen any left wing deployment of the Romney Care strategy. I think I know why. They were saving it. Prediction: Obama Campaign Will Try To…use RomneyCare to suppress Republican turnout for their opponent. Reality: Romney/Ryan will repeal ObamaCare if they can. I’m not saying they wont ever … Read more
Get “Used” To This…
Politicians run around like chicken little screaming “the sky is falling.” They do this until they get what they want. In this instance, government run healthcare was going to save people’s lives. It was going to mandate free stuff, like say, mammograms. Free mammograms. Mammograms save lives. At least they did before the government handed off the responsibility for managing the cost of them to an unelected board of bureaucrats.
Now, that thing the government said you needed every year or two after the age of forty…you don’t need that anymore, and guess what–you can’t have one.
As Morally Repugnant as The Healthcare Plantation or How About Economic Collapse?
Statton Rice of Wolfboro finds it morally repugnant that someone might object to legal plunder to advance the Democrat Health care agenda. In a recent editorial (Concord Monitor) Rice wheels out the moral outrage in an attack on RLCNH chairman Carolyn McKinney. Here is the closing paragraph.
Apparently, McKinney does not realize that there are citizens in this state who can’t eat, heat their home, drive to work, pay for child care and also buy a “free market” health insurance policy. There is something morally repugnant in her plan to deny health insurance to these citizens in order to express her dislike for the Affordable Care Act and the man who signed it into law. At least, she shouldn’t brag about it.
Note to Statton Rice. The only way they would not be able to eat is if they tried to sign up for food stamps from NH HHS without the required picture ID.
These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things…Obama Is Responsible For
This is too good not to borrow and re-post. Dana Loesch–whom we saw at RightOnline this year–reports on the most recent Obama distraction–Romney..something something…and follows with a reminder that most of Obama’s defenders are funded by a guy with way more money (Soros) than Romney. She then provides a list of links to things about … Read more
