I’ve said this before but probably not recently. It relates to one of the primary reasons why Democrats hate private gun ownership. Or, at least my armchair psychology opinion on the matter. A theory based on years of observations.

This is a bit of housekeeping. A story we’ve followed with little potential and then a lot of it. New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. City of New York. The Big Apple changed the law to prevent the US Supreme Court from taking it up, which should have been the end of it.
Gabriel Wortman was shot and killed by Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) after he evaded them for twelve hours, killing 22 people and burning several homes. Wortman didn’t just have illegally obtained firearms, he wore an RCMP uniform and drove a car painted to look like their patrols.
Barack Obama gotta be bumming. First Trump unravels most of his “signature achievements” and now this? “March 16 to March 22 also took top honors in volume for a seven-day period, when nearly 1.2 million NICS checks were performed.
Based on the surge in sales, “Americans” think gun-stores are essential. Here in New Hampshire, that status was made clear from the top as it was in other states. But our ‘sovereign’ neighbor to the south has had a change of heart.
I’m thinking of what the few gun shop sales folks I have dealt with would have done or said if such an over-condescending, self-arrogant guy came into their dealerships and uttered something similar to the meme above.
I’m certain that this exchange with a Detroit Auto-Worker will in no way reflect upon the Democrats, their party, the presumptive nominee for President, or the narrative that suggests Joe Biden is less coarse and more civil than Mr. Trump. Language Warning.
When I took a statistics class in college, the first book we were assigned was “How To Lie With Statistics” by Darrel Huff (1954). The focus was how numbers can be managed and massaged to seem to make them lean in the direction you would like your readers to lean.
We are strong advocates for having trained armed teachers and staff in our schools. Preferably concealed carry and no way for anyone to know who is armed at any given time. Just that they are numerous and present every day. Kentucky has taken a different path.
Alex Friedmann is a former Sanders campaign criminal justice adviser. Friedmann helped shape the current Democrat front-runner’s policies on the issue. But should old Alex be faulted for acting on his beliefs about criminal justice reform?
The gun-grabbers in the New Hampshire legislature have advanced a compromise bill. That’s what they’d call it. It forces a three-day waiting period on the purchase of firearms by law-abiding citizens. Felons, who don’t have to wait were pushing for the seven-day waiting period.
Texas of all places had to pass a law to allow you to carry concealed in a place of worship. While there were probably a few folks violating any such restriction prior, Gov. Abbott’s signature opened the door to more of it, which just saved a lot of lives.
Kudos for refusing to back down on your gun confiscation promises. And hey, the tone-deafness is impressive. Nearly every country has said they will not enforce any such laws and here you are, padding the corrections budget to incarcerate previously law-abiding gun owners who refuse to let you disarm them.
It is no longer a matter of debate. Democrats want to take your money and your guns. They speak openly about both with enthusiasm as if it is good for us. Their gun laws are not good for Detroit, or Baltimore, or Chicago, so has America’s largest territory seen that and turned a corner?
Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins thanked the County Board of Supervisors for making their county a second amendment sanctuary. But he’s got a backup plan, if necessary, to protect law-abiding citizens from the Democrat majority in their State Government.
Before the dust from the election had settled, Virginia Democrats rolled out SB16. A comprehensive assault on the second amendment rights of its law-abiding citizens, complete with bans and the confiscation of firearms. But before the bill can be introduced, the state’s cities and counties rebelled.
Imagine you were dumb enough to fall for a government-run gun buy-back program. They take your weapons, name, banking info (so they can pay you) and then (oops!) leave all that information unsecured online.
Democrats have repeatedly made the case. Friends, family, even total strangers should be allowed to deny you your rights, based on hearsay or even a personal vendetta. Triggered by emotion, a Red Flag Law would give them the power to bypass the Constitution. Why stop with firearms?
We’ve written more than a few stories about Connecticut. The ‘You Need a Liberal “Constitution” to live there‘ State has made it a mission to drive business away. Especially gun makers, who continue to flee this crappy little left-wing armpit of America.
The Day after Democrats won complete control of Virginia State government Ralph ‘Blackface’ Northam announced that Virginia is for Gun Grabbers.
