Gun Ownership Surges Among Black Americans

This is good news for liberty and the second amendment. The National African American Gun Association (NAAGA) says it is adding 2000 new members a day as black Americans embrace their need and their right to defend themselves.

A quick reminder. Republicans defend that right to gun ownership and self-dense. Democrats not only oppose it, but they also oppose their excuse for opposing it. They say you don’t need a gun because the police will protect you while working to make it impossible for the police to defend you.

The police, of course, cannot defend you, nor are they required. But the idea of less law enforcement has Black Americans smelling what Democrats are shoveling. Maybe not at the polls during elections, but they can see the effect the Left’s priorities have on their communities, and they are arming themselves.

Good for them.

Black Gun Owners Association’s Derrick Morgan also explained the increase in black American gun ownership by presenting through a prism of coronavirus fears, but he also pointed to police response times.

Morgan said, “A lot of people are reaching out to us, mainly new gun owners and people who wouldn’t have considered owning a gun or firearm for their protection, have been lining up to purchase firearms and access information from our website.”

I just hope they come to understand that the founders did not limit the right when they wrote it, it was Democrats who did that later. With them in mind. And then, maybe, they will decide to vote accordingly.
