Virginia Corrections Budget Gets Boost to Prepare for all the Gun Owners the State Will be Arresting

Kudos for refusing to back down on your gun confiscation promises. And hey, the tone-deafness is impressive. Nearly every country has said they will not enforce any such laws and here you are, padding the corrections budget to incarcerate previously law-abiding gun owners who refuse to let you disarm them.

That takes some b***s.

The $250,000 is appropriated to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund in order to provide for the “increase in the operating cost of adult correctional facilities resulting from the enactment” of Northam’s gun control measures.

Among the enumerated laws that this allocation is meant to fund is a ban on commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms, the criminalization of private firearms transfers, and gun confiscation orders issued without due process.

It’s the Virginia Communists’ confiscatory rainy day fund. But based on what I’m hearing you might want to set some money aside for wound care and funerary expenses for whichever public employees you send out into the Virginia hinterlands to collect these weapons.

We’ve no clue who that might be at this point. The State police? One Virginia Democrat suggested the National Guard. All over a bill that has yet to see the light of day. It’s just a promise. With budgetary support.

And Democrats still like to claim no one in their party wants to take our guns. Or that they are not trying to ensure Virginia votes for Trump.
