This week was quite explosive when Dan Concannon, a site coordinator for the Manchester School District’s 21st Century Community Learning Center, resigned based on what appears to be a violation of his civil rights. Manchester administrators cannot violate the civil rights of black or white employees, yet here we are.
Education
Data Point – Isn’t Great to See What Federal Spending Has Accomplished in Education?
The only people who have benefited from this rise in education spending have been the adults. The teacher’s unions, administrative bloat, and suppliers to the Educational-Industrial Complex.
Social Justice Warriors of All Stripes Will Take Any Opportunity to “Turn” Your Kids – Don’t Let Them
There is something to be said for standing up for your Principles. Even if it means getting knocked down by the Judicial system by Parents no longer willing to allow THEIR children to be abused by these teachers. Steve has the NH Teachers willing to be those Lawsuit Dummies here (“Here is a List of NH Teachers “Willing to Go To Jail” for Teaching CRT“).
The “New” (NO CRT) and Anti-Discrimination Text From HB2 in One Place – Share It, Quote it, Live It!
Because the left is lying about what New Hampshire’s new anti-discrimination subdivision in HB2 (2021) says or means (given that the Governor appears willing to sign it), I’m sharing it here. All of it. Now.
At Odds with Almost Every Public School Union Teacher in the US – CRT Stack of Stuff Part 11
Here is yet another example of a Teacher having a “mini meltdown” because she can’t indoctrinate “HER” kids anymore. That’s for starters. It goes downhill from there. Remember, reformatting at play and emphasis (generally) is mine:
Giving Voters a Voice by Empowering Elected School District Officials to Reclaim Control over Budgets and Curriculum.
SDGA members should be aware of two extraordinary conflicts that made news in June, both involving school boards and Critical Race Theory instruction.
Hump Day Overnight Thread – “(Almost) Everyone Suddenly Loves the Budget” Edition
I am privy to many details about many things that I am more often than not prohibited from sharing (by request). You get to guess because I’m never going to reveal a confidence deliberately. But I’m not above teasing. And this will be teasing.
Thank You for Ruining My Kids’ Education. Now You Will Answer for It.
Good evening, As I discuss with my son his socialist, feckless, “everyone gets a trophy” grading system that YOU ignored the petition of over 300 students and parents to change; and as I now KNOW that many of you signed into effect a transgender policy whereby teachers can call MY kids doorknobs, he, she, they, it, etc. without ANY parental knowledge;
CRT DEMANDS that it be Fed – Stack of Stuff Part 7
And onward we traipse through that sludge known as Critical Race Theory (CRT) – the pestilence that is just as bad as Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors except there’s no humor at all.
Superintendent Ryan Must Be Removed From Office.
If you attended either school board meeting in Exeter Monday or Tuesday, this would be crystal clear. It is US vs THEM. No, I’m not talking Republican vs Democrat or even conservative vs liberal.
The Democrat Party is Undermining Our Economy and Our Security
I’m concerned seeing nightly films of the flood of people coming into our country illegally with no checks, all unknown histories and characters as the Federal administration spokespersons tell us “the border is closed.”
Online Survey – Tell The NH Dept of Education What You Think About CRT, Lockdowns, Masks
The Left Has Handed You the Way to Take Back Our Schools (With Gov. Sununu’s Unintended Blessing)
I had the privilege of being a guest speaker at a Republican Committee Meeting this week. One of the things I spoke about was something I speak to at length on these pages and often. Critical Race Theory is bullying, and it’s a Free Pass from the left for us to take back our schools.
Who’s Afraid of Education Freedom?
Change is coming to our outdated education system. So far this year, more than a dozen states have enacted policies that empower families to choose their child’s learning environment using the public funds set aside for their child. The “Live Free or Die” state could be next—so long as special interests don’t get their way.
Commissioner Edelblut: Don’t Lower The Standards for Licensing Teachers in New Hampshire
I’m writing today to respond to a letter drafted by the State Advisory Committee on the Education of Students with Disabilities re: PRAXIS and other standardized tests relative to teacher certification.
Minnesota BLM Leader Quit When He Realized Black Lives Matter But Not to “Black Lives Matter”
Minneapolis is ground zero for mistreating black lives in the name of black lives. Black Lying Marxists use people of color to advance a political program detrimental to black lives, children, education, and their future.
With HB544 Dead It’s Time to Start Suing NH Schools – CRT Violates NH Anti-Bullying Laws
This is not the first time I’ve brought this up, but since the legislative effort to prevent this abuse has failed, it’s time to look for bigger guns. Lawyers and lawsuits as far as the eye can see.
This Won’t Make Any Points With Progressives
I’m working hard to convince TMEW to homeschool the Grandson. She’s agreed, as a former teacher, to do a test trial over the summer as more and more I keep coming across material that Reading, Writing, and ‘Rithmetic are the core academic priorities.
It’s Time for Public Schools to Focus On Academics.
Commissioner Edelblut, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing Ian Rowe to the State Board of Education meeting on March 15th. This was a wonderful presentation that I believe highlights the importance of refocusing on literacy in the classroom.
Why is Systemic Racism Apparent Mostly in Democrat Controlled Cities?
We’re told that America is “systemically racist.” I don’t agree, but parts of America appear to be treated in a “systemically racist” way. “Systemic” means a system, an organization, or process with legal authority.
