Here is a List of NH Teachers “Willing to Go To Jail” for Teaching CRT

The Daily Wire published a list of teachers nationwide willing to teach CRT even if it means jail time. They signed the Zinn Education Project “Pledge to Teach the Truth: Despite New State Bills Against It.” Okay, teach it, but I have some bad news.

While the signed pledge says that these (clears throat) educators “…refuse to lie to young people about U.S. history and current events — regardless of the law,” if you break it, the outcome may be something other than you expect.

I can see the twitching whiskers on the gerbils running the rusty Marxist wheels in your pointy heads. You’re picturing yourself being oppressed by the system—”Perp-Walked” for the complicit media’s elevation to ideological sainthood. A hero, a victim, a martyr. You may even be planning your “public remarks” as I type this.

Bad news, at least in New Hampshire. Your future is much less romantic.

If you get caught race-shaming our children, you’ll probably just get sued. Your school, board, superintendent, and (ultimately) the taxpayers who pay your salary will get sued because they bear the fiscal exposure for the things you do legal, illegal, or otherwise.

More good news!

New Hampshire’s Teacher’s code of conduct will now prohibit (I’m paraphrasing) proselytizing systemic racism and the race-shaming of children. That is unavoidable if you “teach” CRT to our children.

Notice I did not say “your” students or your children. The children are not paying you to teach them. They do not belong to you; they belong to the parents.

You work in the service of the taxpayers and are employed at their leisure – right up until you cost them (potentially) millions of dollars in lawsuits.

No jail, no perp walk, no photo op. If it makes you feel better you can squawk about having your teaching credentials revoked in the Granite State.

But wait, there’s more.

Someone may bring a civil suit against you. Just you. You did sign your name to a list saying you would willingly violate State law. I bet that will sound great when they read it to the judge.

On the bright side, almost every other sector of the economy is hurting for staff. You could get a great paying job handing muffins and coffee out a drive-thru window. It may even come with a sign-on bonus and a nifty apron. Flexible hours, nights, and weekends.

Good times. And good for you, standing on your principles like that. Can I get an extra napkin, please?

Here’s the list.

Here’s the Pledge.

A recent bill introduced in the Missouri legislature exemplifies a rash of similar bills — in Texas, Idaho, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Arizona, and North Carolina — that aim to prohibit teachers from teaching the truth about this country: It was founded on dispossession of Native Americans, slavery, structural racism and oppression; and structural racism is a defining characteristic of our society today….

We, the undersigned educators, refuse to lie to young people about U.S. history and current events — regardless of the law.

Note: Willfully breaking the law assumes you know you could or will get arrested and detained. Jail! Even if it’s only for a little while.
