2020 is shaping up to be a hard lesson for the political elites. If the Bernie Juggernaut keeps this momentum the candidates of choice will both be non-establishment outsiders. The Democrats, of course, will do all in their power to keep Bernie off their ticket. But what does that look like?

President Trump is in Manchester tonight and the New Hampshire primary is tomorrow. The first contest with actual results (dig!). And with one day to go an Emerson Poll has Sanders in first at 30% and Biden in 5th with Only 10%.
However the Iowa Caucus turns out there is a lack of trust in the outcome. Three days later the count the results are “97% tallied.”
Iowa’s Democratic Party announces a preliminary winner of their caucus… The selection comes on partial results that probably will change. (and have). With 62% of Iowa precincts reporting the results of Monday’s caucus, the results looked like this.
We are officially in the primary season. The Iowa caucuses tonight will provide the first tangible results of this already-chaotic process. From here on in it isn’t conjecture that matters it is voters and caucus-goers. We are entering the realm of numbers, percentages, and statistics.

We ranked each area on 10 factors, including average unemployment rate between 2009 and 2011; median commute times to work for 2010 based on U.S. Census data; violent crimes per capita from the FBI’s 2010 Uniform Crime Report; and how pro sports teams fared in the area over the past three completed seasons.
