Some say John Kasich is selling out his party and his principles. Well no… John Kasich is really just being honest with people. He was a socialist four years ago and he still is. He was a Democrat then and he still is. Now he is simply publicly embracing the correct label.

What Type of Person Is an American?
What type of person is an American? Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln each used the term “the self made man” in describing Americans. Both are great Americans and they come from different beginnings.
Notable Quote – Harlan Hill
What America is going through right now is not merely another, more intense round of “cancel culture.” We’re now in the midst of a full-force, totalitarian remolding of our society, one that seeks to place the petty resentments of an outraged minority of leftist activists above everything else in American life. Because of their willingness … Read more
Educational Methods and Values and Principles
We are seeing declining results from changes in educational methods and values and principles. Perhaps it is some of both. Either way, the education ship is sailing in the wrong direction. Testing results send us the message loudly and clearly.
The Democrat’s Primary is Down to Crazy versus Crazy
The Democrat Party is offering America an unusual choice, and crazy is winning. The front runner is crazy Uncle Joe Biden. He is obviously struggling to keep it together. The party is providing him with handlers. The public needs protection from the candidate.
People are unhappier than at any time since data began to be collected. Why is that?
Reuters reports in 2019 “Suicidal thinking, severe depression and rates of self-injury among U.S. college students more than doubled over less than a decade.”
Is it Possible to Make a Moral World with Reason Alone?
There are lots of people today who believe reason is all we need to be moral. But is it really possible to make a moral world with reason alone? Does rationality take the place of faith, belief structure?
The Integrity of the Data in Nashua’s Assessing Department Cannot be Trusted
Recently, the Nashua Assessing Office upgraded its software and uploaded new 2019 property record cards (PRC’s) for the public to access online. Unfortunately, the data from the old software doesn’t seem to have transferred to the correct fields in the new software and property cards are incorrect.
Islamization of the Political Process
There is an Islamization of the American political process in progress. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has lent her support to the 26 Muslim candidates who won legislative seats.
We Must Defend Our Values and Principles
Like you, I am tired of arrogant socialists. These people, who have never even run a lemonade stand need to shut up, sit down and get out of the way. They should not be telling us how we should live in New Hampshire.
We fought them abroad but here they are
You know, I/we don’t do this enough as our commenters are very bright and incisive. They ‘get it’ and get to the point. The problem is that their comments, while valued, sometimes don’t get the play they should. So, I’m going to do more “promoting” than what I have done in the past. From Steve’s … Read more
There is Pressure for Change
There is pressure for change. Does that mean the nation wants or needs different values and principles? Right now we have more access to more good information than at any point in history by a lot. This should be, can be information nirvana.
Throughout History Slavery was the Norm. Overcoming it Required Exceptional Ideals
Throughout history slavery was ordinary, it has been the norm. Overcoming it required exceptional ideals; values and principles. Most people today lack context for their understanding of American slavery.
Local Jurisdictions Should Not Shield Criminals from ICE
Only American citizens can protect America. It is our responsibility to demand politicians and our senior law enforcement do their job. Their job is that which they have sworn an oath to do. Namely, that is protecting America and most importantly protecting our children.
Save the Eagle Eggs? Yes! Save innocent Unborn Babies? Not so much
The Left is always predictable – all about “saving” things that fit in “nature” – but not just babies. Babies from other species – you bet that they need protection. Your future brother? Sister? Cousin? Friend? Expendable. As Brietbart observed, politics is downstream from culture and The Left has definitely screwed up our culture to … Read more
Life, Liberty and Property Rights in the Amazon
When everyone owns something; no one owns it. We need to stop and think about that statement. What about a public highway or pond? What incentive does anyone have to maintain or take care of these things? Why are the principles and values of life, liberty and property rights timeless? The road to hell Sure, … Read more
Former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile – “The President should not be blamed for these individual killers”
Here’s something you don’t hear every day. Former Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile is upset. She doesn’t like that people are Blaming Mr. Trump for the actions of the mass-murderers in El Paso and Dayton.
Where Do We Find Ourselves Today?
In America do we have in our society a tight inbred elite rule? Do the people at the top of the heap attend the same boarding schools; the same universities, work in top law firms and investment banks? Are these people part of a group who has known each other since childhood? Perhaps there was … Read more
Liberty Mutual – rewarding nudity with a President’s Award
Good old American values, there Liberty Mutual – you don’t have to bring your kiddies to the scummy strip joint in the red light zone (did I just age myself there?), just bring them to the beach. Or, pretty much, anywhere now. It’s a value, I guess a new-fangled one based on yet another set … Read more
The Voluntary Exclusion Party
In a previous post, I considered the question: How can people who prefer safety to freedom coexist with people who prefer freedom to safety?
I discussed a way in which a political party could directly provide single-payer services to the people who want them, instead of focusing on gaining control of government in order to ‘provide’ them even to people who don’t want them.
Today I’d like to consider a related question: How can people who want to follow different moral codes coexist with each other?
