And I thought that this one was going to be the last one…

…here (we had run a "creative" sign contest after Carol Shea-Porter had a hissy fit over Bob Nickerson’s "re-purposed" usage.  Well, I think we have closure now: (H/T: Richard)

One New Republican U.S. Representative, from Florida’s Congressional District #22. Welcome, Rep. West

He’s Baaa-aaacckk! Same truck – new sign!

Heh!  Bob Nickerson got Carol Scold-Porter’s campaign staffers’ panties in knots back here.  Well, not to be shut down, he’s got a new sign: We at GraniteGrok "intensely dislike" Sidenote: after all, Harrell Kirstein would send out yet another silly "Political Correctness Alert!!!!" Press Release if I DARED to use the word "hate" – hey … Read more

November – CHANGE is coming!

Heh! Yes, I was rather jocular when I saw this: Here is a list of 82 Democrat-held House seats that you should be watching on election night, based largely on independent polling but also my sense of where things stand… …I’ve broken it down this way in part so that you can watch the fate … Read more

Why I WILL Vote for Charles Bass

Guest post by Bob Southard (a reaction to Tim’s post):

Over the past few decades, we conservatives have seen a parade of Republican candidates and politicians who espouse individual liberty, freedom and government, yet ride herd on a grossly escalating Federal government budget.  Conservatives, you say?  Hardly.  The party of Reagan has lost its way.

From the first George Bush to his son and with Olympia Snow and a host of other "Rockefeller Republicans", we watched as our party of restrained gov’t and individual liberty shoved a steadily growing budget of entitlement programs down our throats.  The Bushes and all their RINO variants did not believe what we and Ronald Reagan and the Founders of our country believe.  At their core, they remain decent human beings who bought the fallacy of Government as the "Protector" of our rights.  In this process, they have very nearly destroyed our Republican Party.

The Tea Party has become the single unifying rallying cry for conservatives all over the country.  People who actually believe in our constitution, who pay their taxes, who speak English and who obey the law.  These are the people who must take back our Party and our nation.  What we must stand for and fight at every opportunity is any philosophy or thought process that permits the enemies of our constitution to become elected to office.  This must stop now.

There remain many principled conservatives and republicans who twist themselves up in anguished knots when reviewing candidates on Nov. 2nd.  They believe that some of our candidates do not pass a "purity test" for conservatism; therefore, they can not bring themselves to vote for the republican.  Nothing could be more wrong-headed nor harmful in our determination to return our country to its birthright.  In fact, this thinking has the potential to destroy the momentum generated by the Tea Party.

The Democrats have successfully…

Have had little time for actual blogging lately….

The live blogging / live streaming (and the travel to the sites) has taken up a whole lot of time lately – hard to put fingers to keyboard when eyeballs are on the camera, the sound VU LEDs, or the road. So, in addition to Steve’s correct assesment of Carol Scold-Porter (yeah, a scold…nobody likes … Read more

“Let’s Deface a Carol-Shea Porter Sign!” Contest

The Carol-Shea Porter campaign is not-surprisingly hypocritical. They use a video frame from a GraniteGrok YouTube video in one of their anti-Guinta commercials, and refuse to give credit – effectively stealing our material. Yet, when a citizen uses one of her signs, which he obtained legally, to protest her Progressive, destructive record in Congress, they call the police to make him take it down; pathetic. So in honor of the man, and in the style of “Draw Mohammed Day”, we are sponsoring a “Let’s Deface a Carol-Shea Porter Sign!” contest. Send us your entry to IAmAnExtremist@GraniteGrok.com

Carol Shea-Porter and Ann McKluster are so scared of The Pledge, they can’t even open their envelopes!

Carol Shea-Porter reject 1

and:

Heh!  This is just SO rich.  BOTH sound like they are oh so reasonable with taxpayer money – after all, they only want to help others – with yet other peoples’ money.  ANY attempt to limit their access to that last item causes them to recoil in absolute horror!

The Pledge has been around for a while – a bulwark protecting NH taxpayers.  Tom Thompson, honorary Chair of Americans for Prosperity – NH, has been asking all of the candidates to sign The Pledge; the pledge is here.  It’s purpose?  A word that is hated by most politicians across the fruited plain – especially by Progressive ones:

Accountable

Sign The Pledge?  You have officially promised to be held accountable.  Progressives hate to be held to account – after all, if we all did, they wouldn’t be around.  So, of whom do I speak?  Merely the biggest Progressives in NH – who realize that their plans for a bigger and more centralized Government would be more rancid than two week old fillet of fish out in the sun.  That’s right:

Carol "The Thief" Shea-Porter and Ann McKluster

Why say this? When given the chance, when the opportunity arose, they chickened out.  They just didn’t return their Pledges, they didn’t just open the envelope, read the letter – they wouldn’t even accept the Certified Mail!

Tom Thompson?  Looks like just his name strikes terror in the hearts of the big spenders….the Progressives.

See Carol’s up top?  And McKuster’s?  The other halfs after the jump:

Carol Che-Porter -> “Pelosi’s Poodle”

Can we just pat her on the head, scratch her behind the ears, and then send her to her doghouse? Now, please? (H/T: Corey)

Is Carol Coming Out Of The Commie Closet?

In Carol Seiu-Porter’s last debate she emphasized her commitment to government as a source for solutions and inferred that people who object to that position are just way out there, you know, extremists.

Frank Guinta for US Congress event with Tim Pawlenty

If you missed the live stream version, never fear!  Here are the recorded versions of the event.  I WILL apologize to Will Infantine who did the initial introductions – it became clear that my second camera was too low where it sat on the table.  Thus, using the Gorillapod tripod, I put it up on … Read more

Komrad Karol SEIU-Porter-Constitutional Threat

Carol SEIU-Porter seems to think we need government.  That the Tea Party and others do not want any government.  That there is no role for government.  And while there is a minority of people within the various facets of the movement who might agree, most of us do not because anarchy leads to oligarchy and totalitarianism.  That’s just how people are wired.

So what’s Carol’s real problem?  She has several but lets focus on the fact that based on the context of yesterdays’ CD-1 debate she has more or less admitted to being one of Jonah Goldberg’s aptly defined ‘smiley-faced’ fascists.

Frank Guinta – standing up for small biz unlike Democrat Carol Shea-Porter attempted biz beat down.

One of the STUPIDEST things the Democrats have done this year was embedded in the Obamacare monstrosity: the $600 1099 threshold.  All companies are supposed to tell the IRS who they have paid money to during the year.  This insanity will certain impact productivity – especially for really small biz (like us).  Do you realize … Read more

Guinta Statement on “Anonymous” Smear Campaign

Manchester, NH – Brett Bosse, spokesman for the Frank Guinta for Congress campaign, has issued the following statement regarding what appears to be an illegal smear campaign conducted over the phone.

“We appreciate the Rich Ashooh campaign for immediately contacting us on this matter. The people behind this ‘anonymous’ and illegal smear campaign clearly wanted to implicate Rich Ashooh by falsely attaching his phone number to these calls. Not only is this illegal, it is gutless. This is not the first time Frank Guinta has been the subject of false attacks. Recently, Sean Mahoney has lobbed numerous false attacks against Guinta to cover up his own record of supporting liberals and liberal causes. Frank Guinta has run a clean, issue-based campaign for more than a year. These kind of dirty tricks have no place in New Hampshire politics.  We have already lodged a complaint with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, and ask for an immediate investigation into this matter.”

What they despise are tactics akin to the punji sticks in the jungles of Viet Nam….

Underhanded, below board; this is the ethics that NH wants as a Congressman?  Sean Mahoney, smiling broadly in one venue with the stiletto in the other?

Worthy of Pat "even accusations of a crime are not below him" Hynes of Hynes Communications, that’s for sure….from his site:

The Hynes Difference

You don’t want to just get your message out, you want to win. You need to win, and your reputation is on the line. You’re looking at an uphill battle, and you need to find something new to put you over the top.

Winning at ALL costs?  Seems to be true…

Pat Hynes so sad

Questions….so many Questions….

Once again, it seems like the Grass Roots (vs the monied set) is having questions about the dude that enters the race with a cloud of TEA Party controversy, ticks off said organizers, hijacks their event for subsequent political ads, hiring high powered (and priced) Internet operatives, and touts his TEA Party cred (cred to … Read more

Still have more from Tuesday:  the intro (front) and the Micro-Interview (back)

Front: I’ve known Tony Giunta, former mayor of Franklin, NH for a number of years now – his upbeat mannerism in the clip below is no put on – while he does have a serious side, what you see here is typical:

Back: after the jump.

Note: Still uploading the Q & A.  It is standard political fare that our "seasoned citizens" are also the best voters in the country – they also had a lot of questions – a total of over an hour!  Ya think they’ve got an interest in the outcome of the election and want to make sure they pull the lever for the right candidate!

Ann McLane Kuster….Let’s just Call Her McLuster

Uh Hee hee, duh!Ann McLane Kuster, aside from having another one of those pretentious feminist names like Carol Seiu-Porter, has demonstrated to us that she is just another shill for the left wing narrative.  The road map to shill-dom (the most current public version at the very least) was printed in this morning’s Union Leader under the headline “Yes, The Bush tax cuts did harm our economy” in the Another View section of the editorial page.  Yes, it is another view, and while I’m no fan of GWB, her view just happens to be a biased view that is also wrong.

Before I explain why, let me get this out of the way.  I’m not writing ‘Ann McLane Kuster’ anymore. It is pretentious and annoying, it takes too long to write, so I’m just going to shorten it to McLuster.    And she should thank me.  Combining names is so “all the rage.”  Just think Brangalina!

McLuster is also the first of a two–word phrase often used by McDonald’s mangers when everything suddenly comes off the rails.  And based on the way she “sees it,” it’s a short stumble from her rhetorical notion of economics to another full-blown federally-mandated McLuster- %$#@!
