Speaking on the subject of Red Flag laws, Senator Rand Paul was recently quoted as saying: I’m not opposed to sort of an emergency order for 48 hours and then you get a hearing in a court where you get the full due-process protections.
In other words, on the basis of a mere accusation, you take someone’s guns away from him, and if you made a mistake, you let him try to get them back in court.
A day or two later, he was sending out emails asking for donations to help him support the Second Amendment.
Left-wing CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was in public with his kids when some dope(s) walked up and called him Fredo. First, don’t bug people like that in public. The left lives for that, and it’s rude. But if they lose it, and you catch it on video, Trump sells merchandise.
As might be expected after the horrible mass murders in El Paso and Dayton, the hard left Democrats are calling for bans on high-capacity magazines and so-called assault weapons. But let’s take a look at what that really means.
The only thing Liberals will not do to slow the tide of criminals engaging in”gun violence” is the one thing most likely to work. Make it easier for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves. Chicago is the poster-child for this mindset. The mecca of liberal gun laws and one of the most consistently violent places in America.
Senator Lindsey Graham — nominally a Republican — is trying to put together federal legislation to give grants to states that pass Red Flag laws. The National Rifle Association — nominally a gun rights organization — has gone on record in support of these laws.
These have to be belated April Fool’s jokes, right? Unfortunately, they’re not. But there’s a joke that helps explain how situations like this come about:

Right now, the Granite State is under siege from a barrage of gun control measures presently under consideration in the legislature. Gun control measures that are more reflective of states like Massachusetts, California, Maryland, Illinois and New York City. There is a bill for Universal Background checks (ah, but they do not call it that because they are liars). There is a seven-day waiting period bill and worst of all, a red flag law bill.
Someone smart — maybe it was Epictetus, or Mark Twain — said that what matters isn’t what happens to you, but what you learn from what happens to you.
So, what’s happening to us now?
Well, we have a truckload of anti-gun bills moving towards passage by the legislature, and we’re depending on a pseudo-Republican governor to veto them, and hoping that his vetoes won’t be over-ridden.
And what should we be learning from this?
Well, in some stories about vampires, a vampire can’t come into your house unless you invite him. It turns out that the same is true about anti-gun bills. And we need to learn to stop inviting them.
The number of sanctuary Counties for Law abiding gun owners continues to swell in States held or run by liberal state governments. The state of New Mexico has 33 counties, 29 of which are now sanctuaries for the Second Amendment.
New Hampshire Democrats backed by massive amounts of money and influence from out of state special interests want to eliminate your right to due process. They’d like to empower anyone with a phone a pen and the inclination to send armed officers to your home to take your stuff.
Now that a ‘red flag’ law (more precisely a ‘suspension of due process for gun owners’ law, although that would telegraph its intent too clearly) is being considered, it means we’re going to hear the following specious argument raised in its defense: ‘Rights are not unlimited. For example, you can’t yell fire in a crowded theater.’
It’s amazing to me that an argument this dumb has managed to stay around for as long as it has. Why? Because it’s so easily refuted.

Seacoast Online wants to know if Maine and New Hampshire are ready for “Red Flag” Laws and is asking for you to take a poll:
“Are you open to NH and Maine creating Red Flag Laws?”
If New Hampshire State Senate Minority Leader Jeff Woodburn has any firearms, will he turn them in NOW? He is, after all, he’s in favor of “Red Flag” laws which empower the State to take firearms away from those deemed to be a danger to others or themselves (or both).
C’mon Jeff, show the courage of your convictions; if you got’em, turn ’em in as a show of faith because “dangerous people” should no longer be “entitled” to Due Process. You’re supposedly a “Leader.” But are you a leader out in front or a “leader from behind” like Obama self-described? C’mon, Jeff, resoundingly smash that old phrase “Fine for thee but not for me!” to smithereens?
