The Democrat-controlled Commission to Study School Funding has issued its final report. There’s no chance that a Republican-controlled government is going to implement the recommendations of this report. (At least, one hopes that’s the case, but as Winnie-the-Pooh would say, you never can tell with Republicans.)

Hand Recount in Windham (Rock Dist. 7) Reveals “Machine” Shorted Every (House) Republican by About 300 Votes
From the ever-vigilant folk at the Live Free or Die Report (on Facebook). They have a photo of a recount sheet for the Rockingham District 7 NH House Race in Windham. The original machine counted results were wrong for all 4 Republicans by almost exactly 300 votes.
NH Civil Rights Leader Rogers Johnson, Dead at 62
I met Rogers Jonson on a handful of occasions. In my limited experience, he was always a great guy who listened intently. He was thoughtful and always polite. So it is sad to hear the news that he has passed away at the age of 62.
