In the interest of getting things done, not always my favorite words when it comes to government, President Trump pushed to waive, suspend, or do an end-around on existing bureaucratic barriers. As he advocates for an economic recovery, he is asking agencies, where possible (EO Archived here) to take it one step further.
FreedomWorks has issued a governor’s Report Card. They analyzed the various response and reopening strategies in each state on a handful of points (mostly the economic damage) and gave each effort a grade. How did your state do?

Democrats are cluttering up my Twitter feed with strawman arguments about saving lives from COVID-19. As if they actually give a damn. They don’t care about lives lost as a result of shutting down the economy. This is therefore not about lives lost if we restart it. Not that they have any credibility on the value of life.
There are three ways to stop any disease: Vaccine; prevention, which is not currently available for coronavirus. Cure; anecdotally, several are available but they are only in use in some places, by some doctors, which is a self infliction of sub-optimization. And finally establishing herd immunity.
Every day in the US 8,000 people die (on average) due to normal everyday life – having nothing to do with the Coronavirus. It’s just a fact of 300 million population and an 80-year life span. This means that during the past two months of economic shutdown nearly 500,000 people have died.

I’m getting to the point that the next time a medical person says that we can’t open our economies until a cure is found because WE DIDN’T ELECT YOU MEDICAL TECHNOCRATS to govern; speak your opinion – that’s your right, but I REFUSE to be governed by your opinion and your opinion only.
