This is a quick one—more questions than answers. But I’m throwing it out for crowdsourcing because NH has always been ready to milk the Jackpot Justice Cow. COVID-19 turned out to be just such a cow, and someone sent me this a while back. I missed it until now, but it is still relevant.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused a huge disruption to New Hampshire students when our schools shifted to remote instruction in April. But that’s not the only disruption faced by New Hampshire families.

The New York City Department of Health, experts at Public Health in the COVID era the way drunks are experts at driving, has gone the extra mile. At some point during this mess, they produced 3-pages of guidance for New Yorkers with strategies to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 during “sex.”
Here’s a poll question for the times. As we find ourselves waking up from the hangover of COVID-19 induced quarantine, was it worth it? Did we do some good or ruin our lives (the economy) for nothing?

This sort of thing happens when government overreach goes unchecked. North Carolina still has Coronaviris restrictions on crowds and event size. But a Local Speedway in Alamance County saw an opportunity and described their event as a “peaceful protest.”
The World Health Organization has repeatedly screwed the pooch on this pandemic business, so maybe this is an effort at redemption? They are claiming that data from several countries doing contact tracing demonstrates that the odds of getting COVID-19 from someone who is asymptomatic is “very rare.“

The MPH Stands for ‘Master of Public Health’ and she has written a letter in which she suggests that, despite everything they said about COVID-19, health officials should not condemn these “gatherings.”

The Nashua City Aldermen overwhelmingly voted to require masks when doing business or shopping in Nashua, with a penalty of up to $1,000 for violators, for the purpose of slowing the spread of COVID-19.
The New York Post is covering what appears to be a pandemic of Dr. Fauci. New York’s largest hospital system is looking into the use of ventilators on patients sick with the Chinese Wuhan Flu and it does not look good. So far, statistics point to ventilators being a death sentence for a large percentage of patients.
I want to start by thanking Governor Sununu for his leadership during these unprecedented times. I also want to thank the members of the task force for their time and commitment to reopening NH.
We’ve heard a lot of talk about masks, social separation, constant washing of hands, etc. We’ve been told that these extra “protective measures” are needed “until it’s safe.”
Ed Morrissey makes what should appear to any sane or sensible person to be the actual point of this graph released by PEW (pew-pew) Research. They claim that their data and this awesome graph they have proves something. It does, just not what they think.
