If the Left ever gets what they want, Rachel Ann Bender Ignatio, MD MPH will be in charge of something. The MPH Stands for ‘Master of Public Health’ and she has written a letter in which she suggests that, despite everything they said about COVID-19, health officials should not condemn these “gatherings.”

Keep in mind that these experts have been nothing if not persistent (demanding) about the protocol—social distancing. Wear a mask in public: no large gatherings, limits on work, play, everything. But wait! Social Justice Identity Politics can heal the people form the COVID! – can I get an Amen!
There are so many things wrong in there, but let’s not get distracted by nonsense blue-bubble white supremacy claims or the other obviously partisan garbage. This is about gatherings, peaceful, that then turn otherwise.
If you protest the right thing, it’s okay.
And you know what that means? They were either full of sh*t then (about it), or they are full of sh*t now. And speaking of being full of sh*t, here’s governor Sununu.
Those that want to compare social injustices and the issue surrounding the murder of George Floyd to the effectiveness of a stay-at-home order and social gatherings are completely missing the point. They are two completely separate issues and those that try to combine those two issues . . . they’re doing an absolute disservice to the importance of the message around those protests, the importance of the message around the injustices.
If that’s true, then this is entirely political. We are not all in this together. And some of us are more equal than others. Some messages are more equal than others. Some injustices are more equal than others.
Peaceful protest is only a threat to the health of others if our political masters do not approve it. And while Dr. Identity Politics is a Liberal off her nut, Governor Sununu is supposed to be a Republican.
And to be clear, I have been in favor of peaceful protest for any reason, since we suffered our first two weeks and discovered this was all a load of crap. But instead of acknowledging the error, Soy Boy Sununu, who has a weak spot in whatever passes for his spine for left-wing identity politics voodoo, put 200,000 people out of work. He denied them their right to association, occupation, and religious observance—ended businesses, fortunes, retirements, perhaps even families and lives.
I say protest peacefully as much as you like. And don’t stop now. But don’t let them get out of hand, hijacked, converted into acts of terrorism.
As for Sununu, if you thought I was snitty with His Excellency before, it looks like I was just getting started. Mr. “completely missing the point” has made the point abundantly clear – that this has nothing to do with the transmissibility of a virus and everything to do with his politics. And he chose the wrong side, again!
Peaceful protest of any sort should receive the same blessing form His Excellency, but no. Pro-liberty pro-constitutional rights bad, Protests put on by BLM – which hates the police, are good.
Riots are always bad. But we can’t prevent anyone from protesting even if it might start a riot – but we can make wild claims about spreading diseases and killing people (from COVID) when it’s actual Republicans protesting.
Or, maybe, all these liberals just want to see the infection rates in the minority community soar. How dare I? Oh, I don’t know, because Democrats don’t give a damn about black lives unless they represent some political advantage.
Can we add Gov. Sununu to that team now too?
