Greenland Added 4 Gigatons of Ice And What COVID19 and CLIMATE ‘Do’ Have In Common

You can blame anything on Global Warming, but maybe Coronavirus can take credit for this. At the precipice of the summer melt season, Greenland added four gigatons of ice in a day. That’s a record for June.

As you can see from the chart, those numbers can move around quickly, but this year has seen several significant spikes in growth, followed by equally steep losses.

But over at Ice Age Now they seem excited about the news.

Vast regions of southwestern Greenland are currently gaining record levels – record levels! – of snow & ice. Never before in June has the Greenland ice sheet grown by more than 4 Gigatons in a single day, until now that is–according to Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) data going back to 1981.

I don’t spend much time looking at Greenland’s ice mass other than to note that it changes, and there’s nothing odd about that. And it is named Greenland and it has never been all that (green) in our lifetimes despite the recent solar maximum (which just ended). In other words, when the Vikings landed, it was warmer, and they didn’t have the comforts we enjoy, thanks to fossil fuels.

I’m sure someone will say, yeah, well, it is COVID-19 because the world stopped, and there are fewer emissions, and you are a racist. There are fewer emissions (and they are the racists), but there’s still no scientific correlation between rising CO2 and anything the Climate Cult has predicted.

But they do have something in common, the Cult and COVID-19. At this point, there is no cure for either. Spikes of both (COVID19 infections and Climate Cult stupidity) are forecast for the indefinite future. While the political response to both share a common goal. Socialism.

That is something they share with the Left’s race and identity politics as well. It’s never about what they say and always about political power. Once you accept that the mass of contradictions from Progressives makes a lot more sense.
