Ace Speedway in North Carolina Attracts 2000 People for “Peaceful Protest” Race

This sort of thing happens when government overreach goes unchecked. North Carolina still has Coronaviris restrictions on crowds and event size. But a Local Speedway in Alamance County saw an opportunity and described their event as a “peaceful protest.”

A sign out front said, “This Event is held in Peaceful Protest of Injustice and Inequality Everywhere.”

Race fans filled the stands to watch and enjoy an evening out and embrace some equality for themselves.

If protesters and rioters can form large gatherings day after day, well, race fans should be able to do it too. And they did.

 And what about the law?

Sheriff Terry Johnson revealed that he would not interfere with the event and called Governor Roy Cooper’s executive order “unconstitutional.”

No word yet on whether race fans are more likely to cause a spike than protesters, but I think we can guess at the answer.
