How Does Carol Pay The Bills

The Nashua Telegraph went to a bit of trouble to post candidate financial reports, so even though I’d already reviewed a few myself I figured they deserved another look. One thing in particular stood out to me… …Carol Shea Porter lists no savings or checking accounts, not for her, not for her spouse–whose income as an IRS … Read more

Carol’s Dirty Foreign Money

Carol Seiu-Porter gets her share of funding from unions with an international presence, but a new group has risen abruptly to the top of her donor list and it’s not a Union.  J Street PAC, a self proclaimed pro-Israel group, has produced donors to Carol to the tune of $16,500.00, and endorsed her as well.

J Street is self-proclaimed for several reasons.  They show their "support" for Israel by fighting sanctions against Iran and Hamas.  Their idea of peace is to lobby against Isreal’s right to self defense when attacked; as in, firing back prevents peace, just sit there and take it.  And J Street has been heavily funded by the anti-Israeli Soros family fortune, and other generous foreign donors including prominent Arab’s, their representatives, attaches, consultants, and hangers-on.

They do have US donors, but the democrats have made it clear that this no longer matters, nor does any existing regulation to separate foreign and domestic donations.

Using their rules Carol just took another $16,000.00 in "foreign contributions" for her "local election."  Contributions from people who it can be argued, don’t care all that much for our ally Israel.

To The Editor…

Carol Shea-Porter has abrogated her constitutional responsibilities, done everything in her power to destroy New Hampshire’s right to State sovereignty, refused to fulfill her duty to propose a new federal budget for political reasons, accepted money from admitted socialists in the government, increased the federal deficit to 3.5 trillion dollars, added tens of trillions more … Read more

Are Hodes And Shea-Porter on the Communist Payroll?

A prominent talk radio host brings up an interesting point.  The democrats have spent trillions in the past two years, driving the deficit over 3.5 Trillion (from that irresponsible 400 Billion Bush left behind) with roughly a trillion of that money borrowed from the Chinese government.  That’s a trillion sent to the US treasury, which … Read more

Democrats Pull Resources From Seiu-Porter?

Red State is reporting that the DSCC has pulled a Party operative who was supposed to be helping Carol Shea-Porter, and moved them down to Delaware to help the Democrat Senatorial candidate Coons. That means they are afraid Coons needs help despite polling that shows him way ahead, and that Carol is expendable. I can’t … Read more

MilkingThe Union Cow

MooCarol Seiu-Porter gets 50% of her PAC money from Unions.  You remember the Unions?  Their leadership extorts taxpayer dollars away from the real workers to pay union employees then demands that they tithe  money to them for the privilege of doing it again.  Then they give some of it to Carol so she can help protect their interests.

That’s hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars filtered through union employees to a candidate they might not even support.

Carol also gets another 48% from congressional PAC’s, most of whom are heavily funded by unions.  These are congresspersons–some of them avowed socialists–who like Carol see no problem in giving the public sector employees more feed than those who work to feed them.

In exchange for that money Carol supports everything the unions want whether it is good for New Hampshire or not.  She loves their golden goose, card check, which would eliminate the secret ballot for organizing a union.  It allows unions to strong arm people into joining.  Unions do still do that.  Ask her AFL-CIO Buddy Richard Trumka. (and here).  And while I’m at it some of my own ruminations Here, Here, and Here. (and why not here as well).

Shea-Porter has amended 27 Seperate FEC filings.

If FEC disclosure amendments are really that big a deal, then why are we not discussing the fact that Carol Shea-Porter has had to amend her FEC filings 27 times. That’s one filing amended for ever 1.6 months in office. Is she that sloppy? Maybe she took advice from Nancy Pelosi instead of reading the filing rules herself –we know she’ not very good at reading things.

The Congresswoman From EMILY’s List

I guess when Carol Shea-Porter took office she swore to defend her special interest donors before the constitution and the people. That’s how she’s legislated. That’s how she’s voted. That’s who she is.

Carol Caved

The Family Research Council has a video out on Carol Seiu-Porter and some details about her legislative shenanigans.

Jan Schakowski 2.0

Following on the heels of Skip’s post about Jan Schakowsky, we should ad this additional bit of truth telling.  Schakowsky is one of Carol Seiu-Porters supporters, one of more than a dozen congressman who are also listed as American Socialists.  Together they have donated at least $36,000.00 dollars to Carol Seiu-Porter this year alone. They … Read more

Now That’s Progress(ivism)

Capital Briefs in this weeks edition of Human Events, reminds us that it took over 200 years for the US government to accumulate a national debt of 2.19 Trillion. Mr Obama exceeded that sum in just 19 months by adding another 2.56 Trillion to the national debt….and neither Paul Hodes, nor Carol SEIU-Porter, did anything … Read more

Is Carol Coming Out Of The Commie Closet?

In Carol Seiu-Porter’s last debate she emphasized her commitment to government as a source for solutions and inferred that people who object to that position are just way out there, you know, extremists.

Let’s Play Ball

If you believe the rhetoric Carol Seiu-Porter and Paul ‘Hot Dog’ Hodes are bulwarks of the middle class lifestyle and protectors of the elderly.  So what would they make of this, from a letter sent to Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday?

A number of tax cuts enacted in the past decade are due to expire at the end of this year. Our fiscal policy should be one that maximizes economic growth and private sector job creation. That is why we strongly believe that Congress should extend the current tax rates for dividend and long-term capital gains taxes…We [] have a responsibility to protect middle class families and seniors from harmful tax increases and their economic impact…

Many seniors depend on this income to supplement their fixed retirement income. A recent study found that in 2007 over 27 million tax returns had dividends qualifying for the reduced tax rate reduction. Of those returns, 61 percent were from taxpayers age 50 and older and 30 percent were from taxpayers age 65 and older.

Would they say it’s just a ploy by the authors to excuse an extension on tax cuts for the wealthy?   Could we expect promises to fix it, whatever it was that needed fixing, after the fact?  Or would they simply dismiss it and ignore the consequences to the elderly and those nearing retirement like they did with health insurance reform?

So what would they say if the letter was sent to Nancy Pelosi by 47 House democrats?

Another New Hampshire Myth Busted!

Thirty nine democrats voted with republicans to hold off the adjournment, but the vote fell short, leaving the tax hikes on the books as the House leaves to defend two years of excessive spending, massive debt, the democrats unpopular health care plan, the failure to utilize Pay-Go as promised, the inability to even try and form a budget, repeated ethical lapses by liberal law makers, and a host of other ills that have driven their approval rating to historical lows.

Lack Of Enthusiasm Ray? Well How About Carol Seiu-Porter..

Just a few hours ago I reported the thoughts (see-gross exaggerations) of one New Hampshire democrat chairman on a so-called lack of enthusiasm in the GOP based on the delegate turn out at the GOP convention.  So what does it say of one Carol SEIU-Porter, who prior to this mornings debate had a rather serious lack of enthusiasm problem all her own.

Let me paint the picture for you.

Not A Good Sign For Carol SEIU-Porter

Can’t Carol find five people to show up to support her that at least drive a New Hampshire rental?  That can’t be a good sign. Notice the Carol Shea Porter signs in the back and the NY tags?  This was driven by one of the five or six CSP debate boosters who showed up … Read more

Where You Gonna Run?

Tidy Bowl Man get's his Union Bail outSeparation of powers was meant to divide the authority so that a process of checks and balances was created to protect the people from abuses of power.  This simple reality makes two things the democrats want you to believe impossible.
