So in the clusterfark that is Afghanistan, the entire world is either laughing at us – e.g., China, Iran, Russia (even if discretely) – or watching in horror as the world’s most powerful military not just cuts and runs, but can’t even evacuate every American citizen. And is telling those there they need to pay their own way out.
Afghanistan
Incompetence and Wanton Disregard for Peoples’ Lives
President Biden‘s withdrawing troops without first withdrawing the 5,000 to 40,000 American civilians and our allies’ civilians working on behalf of our government’s goals is shameful, unpardonable, and displays Biden’s moral bankruptcy and a shocking disregard for the lives of others.
This Is Going to Be a Slow-Speed Blood Bath
When I was a kid, the Iranians took Americans hostage at the US Embassy, and held them for 444 days, tying the US in knots, and humiliating us on the world stage. Hooded hostages were trotted out for propaganda interviews.
These Are Terribly Trying Times.
Faced with a ruthless enemy bent on our destruction, we either stand and fight or cut and run hoping that the enemy will not pursue us to our grave. We no longer can co-exist——live-and-let-live with Marxist-Democrats any more than the suicidal—genocidal Islamofascists with nuclear weapons.
Taliban Joe Blames the Donald but Trump Would Have Handled It Differently (And So Would the Taliban)
The events in Afghanistan prove one thing. The Taliban are not afraid of Joe Biden or whoever is running the Biden Administration (WRBA). No matter where the buck stops, Joe would like to blame that on Donald Trump, but we know Trump would have handled it differently if he’d had had to handle it at all.
Here We Go Again – Taliban and Afghanistan
The Taliban is taking over in Afghanistan, desperate people clinging to American planes taking off are falling to their deaths; how long will it be until the first wave of Islamic terrorist attacks start killing people here in the States?
Tyranny, COVID, Genocides, EndlessWar, Conspiracy, Alinsky, Kabul!
So I am reading a fellow Jewish blogger’s blog and his post has several items worth highlighting specifically. And a few other things I’ve seen scattered around. But first, those few selections:
Taliban Variant Infects Afghanistan – Women and “minorities” Hit Hardest – Does Sleepy Joe Know?
The big news today is Joe Biden’s first real foreign policy “victory.” The Taliban quickly took control of Afghanistan, including whatever “toys” the US government handed out or had to abandon. It’s a nasty mess, and yet, Democrats don’t seem all that upset.
Afghanistan: An Opportunity for Feminists and a Warning for America
No one in the West can watch the events unfolding in Afghanistan without a sense of horror. The nation-building dreams of neocon George Bush, continued by the feckless Obama for eight more years, are coming crashing down.
The Fall of Kabul
Rudyard Kipling understood Afghanistan: “When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains, and the women come out to cut up what remains, jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains and go to your gawd like a soldier.”
Did Bad News Biden’s State Department “Bears” Blow up Afghanistan (Or Should We Call It Talibanistan?)
The original bad news bears was a crop of ill-mannered children playing a game against their will. I think that describes Democrats’ interest in Foreign policy and their aptitude for it, even with the Good War™ in Afghanistan.
Biden Admin Favors Trans-Afghan Pipeline After Killing Off Keystone
Could this be a misunderstanding? On day one, doddering Joe Biden axed the Keystone Pipeline, ended thousands of union jobs. Warren Buffet’s trains will now move fossil fuels south from Canada’s Oil Sands to points in the US. At the same time, Washington is shepherding a pipeline project in Asia that will make the Taliban rich.
Statehood for Syria and Afghanistan …
So did you know that on “Day One” Imposter-President Joe Biden reinvaded Syria: If we are going to indefinitely maintain military occupations of Syria and Afghanistan, then why don’t we just make them States? This last election was all about democracy prevailing, right? Shouldn’t the people of Syria and Afghanistan have a say in the … Read more
How Much is Afghanistan Worth? … What Have we Spent
America has reportedly lost $19 billion to fraud and abuse in Afghanistan. That’s not how much we spent there. Rather, it is how much we’ve wasted there based on audit findings. Follow me and we’ll try and put this in perspective.
Yes, Mr. President … Bring Them Home.
This: Nineteen years … nearly two decades. With nothing to show for it … and many American lives lost and many Americans wounded. What the hell are we waiting for? Get our military the hell out of there now. Not only is withdrawal from Afghanistan the right policy, Americans are sorely in need of some … Read more
Peace in Afghanistan
The United States and the Taliban came to a historic agreement for peace in Afghanistan on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The main objective seems to be scaling back America’s longest conflict. The United States and the Taliban signed a historic deal aimed at winding down America’s longest war.
