The coverage of the Black Lives Matter Rally in Laconia (Laconia Daily Sun, June 9) is so full of hyperbole and misleading statements that I don’t know whether to be angry or sad.
Let’s turn to the last page, shall we?

Violent Communist agitators backed by millions in donated funds are wreaking as much pre-election organized havoc as possible. Progressives in Hollywood as well as Democrat elites are complicit in burning down their own cities as angry communists claim the surrendered land as their own.
So much for your Collective Wailing About Oppressed Minorities, eh Executive Councilors Volinsky, Pignatelli, and Cryans? Your vote on Ryan Terrell yesterday was proof that the Civil War / Jim Crow Southern Democrat racists are alive today in NH. All we’ve heard since the death of George Floyd have been Democrats saying that this needs … Read more
It is axiomatic that to be a Muslim you must: believe in Allah by taking him as your one and only lord, accept Muhammad as Allah’s beloved messenger and take the Quran as a literal work of Allah and a perfect prescription for living.
Kneeling before the Black Lives Matter lobby won’t do you any good. BLM’s radical ideology has no room for forgiveness or reconciliation.
Money doesn’t cure all ills. MANCHESTER Jim O’Connell now sits on the Board of School Committee. His claim to fame has been his constant call for MORE SPENDING in the schools (see screencap, below). He put out a statement on racism in the Manchester schools so I thought I’d send him a reply: I’m going to … Read more
I noted earlier this week that if you wanted to get a look at what a city without police would be like, the riots were an excellent place to start. Here’ another one. Los Angeles. The city of angels. As in 250% more people have become angels (or demons) during the peaceful anti-police protests.
The Manchester Board of School Committee’s resolution to address systemic and institutional racism does not go far enough. In fact, it doesn’t address one of the most important factors plaguing the school district- -illiteracy.
Earlier today, the Executive Council on a party-line vote of three-to-two rejected the nomination of Ryan Terrell, who is Black, to the State Board of Education: Notice that Volisky did not say that Terrell had the wrong opinions … he said that Terrell was uniformed. This is a variation on Joe Biden’s “you ain’t Black” … Read more
We’ve all heard the term, closure. It refers to a psychological resolution to a problem or an issue that allows a person to “move past” that problem or issue. We use various terms to show how closure is achieved: the “5 stages of grief”, complete recovery from alcoholism or drug dependency, etc.
Yup, a new contender for the NH House in November. She hails from Strafford District 13 which is Dover’s 3rd ward. Now, I really don’t know that much about her other than she has registered to run for the NH House as a Democrat with the NH Secretary of State:
The 603 Alliance will be holding a two-day training for Republican State Rep candidates on June 27-28 from 9 AM-4 PM (both days) in Manchester. The training will cover the fundamentals of running a successful campaign for State Rep.
It’s been over two months since ReopenNH held its first protest. At the time, the lockdown-left lost their minds. Not only were people peacefully protesting while openly displaying firearms, they were refusing to live in fear. No distancing, maskless, engaging with other human beings in conversation. The horror!
I had heard rumblings that someone planned to bring a primary challenge, and it has come to pass. Karen Testerman has announced that she is challenging Governor Chris Sununu for the Republican Nomination for the November gubernatorial race.
The king of North Carolina wants to send his officers to eat out the substance of an Alamance County Race Track owner. We reported on his unique reopening solution yesterday. The owner declared the event a peaceful protest. Maybe he should cross out peaceful?
A reader spotted some so-called George Floyd protesters in Lebanon, New Hampshire recently. According to the witness, most of the cars had out of state license plates, including one vehicle from Tennessee.
Garrett Muscatel, I am told, was a great guy. That, from some Republicans who knew him. And I’m happy to hear it. But he took a NH House seat from an actual resident by being allowed to claim his temporary dorm housing as proof of permanent residency.
Recap: Jim Babcock of Gilford stole Grokster Norm Silber’s 2020 NH House campaign sign (corner of Gilford Ave and Salt Marsh Pond road). His license plate was captured and turned into the Gilford Police department. Jim Babcock confessed and retrieved the sign from the woods where he had thrown it. He then tried to use … Read more
This sort of thing happens when government overreach goes unchecked. North Carolina still has Coronaviris restrictions on crowds and event size. But a Local Speedway in Alamance County saw an opportunity and described their event as a “peaceful protest.”
…This system of prices and wages conveys reasonably reliable information to each individual about the consequences that will be experienced not only by her, but also by other people – most of them complete strangers – as a result of her choice of how to use her resources.
