Our most recent poll asked a simple question. Was the Response to COVID-19 Justified or an Unnecessary Overreaction? Given what we know or even knew just a few weeks in our answer to that was yes, but we wanted to ask around and see if it was just us.

The results did not disappoint. When answering the question, “Was the Response to COVID-19 Justified or an Unnecessary Overreaction,”

  • 69% said, No, it was an unnecessary overreaction.
  • 28.7% said, Yes, initially justified, but it should have ended after a few weeks.
  • 1.3% said it was justified, while 0.87% think it was warranted, and we are coming out of lockdown too soon.

Overall, just 2% were good with how this went down, with most of them wanting more. The other 98% wanted everything reopened months ago.

Poll Results was Covid response an overreaction

So, our readers and the curious who saw the poll and wandered in overwhelmingly think this whole mess was overblown.

Does that translate into a muted or non-response when cases rise again? Infections should increase, given the number of people who avoided as much as possible the opportunity to build antibodies.

How many of them were infected but asymptomatic?

No answers, but we know this. The Left will apply pressure at every opportunity to impose virus socialism upon the people, and there are plenty of Republicans willing to play along.
