Illegal Aliens, Devious Politicians, and Hidden Agendas

As the mid-term election approaches, the subject of illegal immigration is again heating up. The two major parties, once in general agreement on the issue, now have diametrically opposing views. Republicans want to eliminate illegal immigration, while welcoming legal immigrants. On the other side, Democrats are resisting all efforts to control our borders. Though they … Read more

Executive Council District 4: “I don’t need to do anything to win because I’m Ted Gatsas!” – Part 2

“HAVE A QUESTION FOR TED OR AN IDEA FOR THE CITY OF MANCHESTER?

Previous post on Ted Gatsas insularity here.  I say that because it turns out that I haven’t been the only one trying to reach out to their campaign to arrange a debate between him and Jane Cormier.  Same result – no answers or blow offs.  You’d think that the Gatsas campaign, with all of his experience as a former NH State Senator, a former Manchester Mayor, and a former Republican candidate for Governor, he would be enthusiastic to show his expertise.  C’est la – I guess it isn’t to be.  The silence is deafening.

In my last post, I posited ““what can you do for Ted instead of what Ted will do for you”. Well, that may be true as his website as I said before, is rather slim of details.  How slim, you might ask? Let’s look at the front page of his website, shall we?

Levi Strauss has just thrown in with gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety

“While taking a stand can be unpopular with some, doing nothing is no longer an option”

Some, you say?  That’s going to be a rather large sum of “somes”, Levi Strauss CEO / President Chip Bergh now that you have announced millions of dollars for those that desire to restrict our Second Amendment Rights. You just announced that you will be:

So today, on top of our previous actions, Levi Strauss & Co. is lending its support for gun violence prevention in three new areas. First, we have established the Safer Tomorrow Fund, which will direct more than $1 million in philanthropic grants from Levi Strauss & Co. over the next four years to fuel the work of nonprofits and youth activists who are working to end gun violence in America.

The Kavanaugh Amendment

stooges-at-blackboard

If the answers to constitutional questions are in the Constitution, then it shouldn’t matter at all who sits on the Supreme Court.  We should be able to replace any subset of justices, and the same questions should get the same answers.  They’re all looking at the same document, right?

You might be feeling some hesitation about that — doesn’t the Constitution have to be ‘interpreted’?  But consider what would happen if it were announced that from now on, officials would be free to ‘interpret’ the NFL Rulebook in order to get any outcome they want, so that the result of any contest would depend entirely on who was doing the officiating.

There would be riots, wouldn’t there?

We’re Creeping Up on the Conway Daily Sun…

Alexa RankingWith August showing so much improvement in traffic it seemed like a good time to update our Alexa rankings and announce some changes. I’ve been including WMUR since the start but it occurs to me that a Television Channel website is not exactly a goal of ours. I’m not saying we couldn’t ever compete just that we can’t even try right now unless we start doing school closings or weather. That’s not happening so I’ve plucked them off our site list.

Who can we add that does compete? No one yet but I’m looking and perhaps you can help.

Remember the “Summer of Recovery?” Trump Finally Delivered

Weekend with Bernie By Richard RamirezRemember the ‘Summer of Recovery?’ It became an annual “festival” celebrated by the media, and the left each and every season after the elevation of his majestic almighty greatness Obama I. Every summer henceforth shall be named recovery summer. We should have coined a catchy mysterious tagline like “Summer is coming.” But recovery summer never came.

Then we elected Donald Trump, and it finally arrived and in record fashion.

Susan Olsen, Bob Clegg, Rick Olson – Negron is Gun Owner’s Choice in CD – 2

Negron Gun Shop

by Susan Olsen, Bob Clegg, and Rick Olson

Not since US Representative Dick Swett of the “Swett Lies” fame has the Second Amendment Constitutionalists felt so betrayed by the actions of a CD 2 Member of Congress. We are very disappointed in Lobbyist-turned-Politician Ann Mclane Kuster, and we need a change. ln a field full of Republican candidates, there is only one clear choice to represent us in the second Congressional District, one clear choice who will defend our 2nd Amendment right. Steve Negron has proven himself to be our number one advocate, a real defender of the entire Bill of Rights.

Steve has a proven track record in the State Legislature voting citizens’ rights every time. He was vital in passing SB12, otherwise known as, Constitutional Carry. The success of this bill had been a long time coming and Steve was instrumental in getting the votes across the finish line.

Uh-oh! Did somebody forget to pay their domain registration bill?

BUMPED from 6/6/2012.  Moron. Better stuff coming back in a while – VOTE Bill Kuch!

Somebody wasn’t paying attention to details, were they?  It does happen – and it more often than some folks will admit to.  However, this is not what I expected to see when I went over to David Boutin’s NH Senate campaign site:

And yes, there are some things that were promised and the stark truth of votes taken.  Right, Left, or somewhere in Squishland, all politicians have a record and it isn’t just other politicians that look at those records.

Jeff Woodburn’s Domestic Abuse Posse Discover ‘Stand Your Ground’ (sort of)

Before Democrats could have a choice between embattled incumbent Jeff Woodburn and any other candidate, there would have to be an “other” candidate. Woodburn, when accused of nine counts of domestic abuse, was unopposed. After the Attorney General announced the arrest and charges Kathleen Kelley stepped up to give North Country Democrats a choice.

Would it surprise you to know that Democrat party insiders don’t like choice?

The Grok Top Ten for August: Woodburns and Sullivans and Whiteness, Oh My!

August was a great month for our readers as a number of interesting Democrat scandals provided gist for the blogging mill. We also had heavy traffic on stories linked to both New Hampshire Republican primaries in CD-1 and CD-2. Then there’s the fledgling “New Hampshire is too white” commission which drove so much traffic that a post from July made the top ten in August.

Here we go.

NH Firearms Coalition “you’re anti-gun if you don’t play by our rules” – survey results

You can go look at their results over at their website listing the candidates sorted which race, what district, and what “grade” they received.  Right now, I’m only concentrating on the aggregate result as I think it will bear my hypothesis out – lots of sturm und drang and not a lot “there” there for usable information.  For instance:

Who actually filled out their survey?

  • Republicans:  170
  • Libertarians:  4
  • Democrats:    133

Republican elected officials demanding overrides on SB 365 and 446 so that taxpayers have to pay more

So why are NH State Senators Bob Guida and Kevin Avard (among others, like Jeb Bradley – and hasn’t he monkey’d with our electrical enough to realize what a total hash he’s made of it?) throwing mains pillars of the Platform into a woodchipper? From the NH Constitution:

[Art.] 2. [Natural Rights.] All men have certain natural, essential, and inherent rights among which are, the enjoying and defending life and liberty; acquiring, possessing, and protecting, property; and, in a word, of seeking and obtaining happiness. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by this state on account of race, creed, color, sex or national origin.

Our money is our property.  Sure, we give up certain things for a limited government, but is it the Proper Role of Government to continually act as a forceable transfer of said wealth because JOBS?  Add to that, these from the NH GOP Platform:

Obama DoJ Never Held FISA Hearings for Warrants to Spy on Trump Campaign

Obama’s Justice Department has admitted that it never held any hearings to get permission to surveil Carter Page, as a means to spy on an opposition party Presidential campaign.

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that in response to a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, the Justice Department (DOJ) admitted in a court filing last night that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court held no hearings on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) spy warrant applications targeting Carter Page, a former Trump campaign part-time advisor who was the subject of four controversial FISA warrants.

Quick Thought – a really important piece of journalistic information about the Berlin

From Steve’s post on Woodburn’s Posse and intellectual honesty (or not as the case might be), this caught my eye:

It might also be useful to point out that the Berlin Daily Sun has reporters who are members of the Democrat party, in elected positions. By all accounts, these reporter-party insiders are on the Greiner-Woodburn side of ‘this mess’ while the Berlin Daily Sun is trying to unseal the arrest records.

So when they tell you they are “objectively” reporting the news….yeah, well, you get my drift. The MSM writ tiny – “just trust us – we’re JOURNALISTS!”. Go read Steve’s post for the fuller context but I thought this needed to be on the front page. Especially as it is further proof that the rampart of our “culture” have been captured by the Left posing as being in the middle – center.

Question:
