David Hogg recently extended his long string of goofy comments by claiming that the AR-15 rifle can’t be a ‘self-defense’ weapon because it can be used to hit things that are far away.
Predictably, it got a lot of media coverage. And predictably, it generated a lot of comments along the lines of ‘How can anyone believe something that is so obviously wrong?’
But really, this kind of idiocy is predictable too. In fact, we’re going to great effort to cultivate it.

Nancy Pelosi is the most polarizing politician on the left. Invoking her name gets Republicans to the polls. Next in line for that honor is Barack Obama. The single most destructive force to Democrat election chances in American history.
When Obama speaks, Republicans show up to vote against Democrats. Last week Obama spoke. He called you racists and bigots. Does anyone have any doubt about how that will be received?
Toxic. Most reasonable people understand toxic individuals generally ruin every relationship, personal and professional, in their lives. There is no reasoning with toxic individuals. These people are automatons, narcissists and control freaks. Not getting one’s own way means destroying everyone or everything around them to achieve that end. Toxic people squander trust and credibility. Narcissism on full public display.
Pro-Gun Groups in New Hampshire who hold themselves as advocates for the Second Amendment have had a long and storied history of rivalry during political seasons and campaign efforts. Indeed, there has been general disagreement on semantics, such as wording of bills, how concepts are articulated, presented, and how to bring the political machine around to a particular point of view. Eventually though, the dust does settle and the groups get on the same page, or return to their corners at least long enough to get the ball across the finish line on behalf of the Second Amendment. The confluence of the groups has always been a push-pull, tug or tow effort, but at the end of the day, we all seem to rally around the right to keep and bear arms.
The Trump economy can add another feather to its cap. The growth of traditional blue collar jobs has reached its highest rate since Ronald Reagan was President.
Jobs in goods-producing industries — mining, construction, and manufacturing — grew 3.3 percent in the year preceding July, the best rate since 1984, according to a Washington Post analysis.
Catherine Corkery and James McCaffrey have an Op-Ed in today’s Union Leader supporting the veto of SB 365 and opposing an override by the New Hampshire Legislature. Corkery is the director of the NH Sierra Club and McCaffery is the “New England legislative director of the Partnership for Policy Integrity.” PFPI is an environmental action group that opposes woodburning “cuz it’s so dirty.”
They prefer Wind and Solar because, as the SB365 bailout bill proves, biomass “simply cannot survive without wasteful and ongoing subsidies from ratepayers and the public.” Say what!?

My Republican opponent in the Nh State Senate Dist. 9 primary says she is “conservative” who supports limited government and that she is proud of her commitment to cutting taxes, protecting our rights, and keeping New Hampshire free.”

Here are a few of the ways she voted to “limit” your government:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, in an interview last week with Hugh Hewitt, was confident that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh would be confirmed.
“He’ll be on board at the Supreme Court by the first Monday in October, which you and I both know is the beginning of the October term.”
Barack Obama likes attention, so he got up the other day and said stuff to get him some.
“But over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican party,” Obama said.
Obama then attacked Republican members of Congress, accusing them of embracing “wild conspiracy theories like those surrounding Benghazi.”
He got some.
Steve Negron is the only NH CD-2 candidate to get an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund. That’s important because there are candidates who received an AQ rating, which the NRA explains as,
An “AQ” rating denotes a pro-gun candidate whose rating is based solely on responses to the NRA-PVF candidate questionnaire and does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.
That means they said all the right things on the survey but have no actual record to back that up.

Cultural unease has grown more and more virulent since the 1990’s if not before. Issues are they are clear to all. The DNC is waxing full of people who are hateful, racist, accusatory and emotionally out of control. They assault any GOP, or perceived GOP, for any reason, stalking them and disrupting them at restaurants eating with their families. They spit, they vandalize, they throw things at rallies, they target even spouses and children. And yet they cannot articulate any solutions to what they are fighting about or engage in civil debate.
Ten out of the 11 Democratic candidates for Governor of NH said they were progressives. I’m told the fish rots from the head down so I am taking a wild guess that more NH Democrats will turn this way. When they are left unchecked it will signal the death of our republic, our culture and our way of life. Goodbye Freedom.

Mr. Obama did a little dance the other day repeating the Trump Derangement Syndrome Narratives while taking credit for the Republican’s Economic recovery. Does that mean that Barry is laying claim to this economic boon?
U.S. crude oil exports saw an 80 percent increase in the first half of 2018 compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data and analysis issued Thursday by the Energy Information Administration.

If you thought you’d heard it all well you have not. A Feminist professor from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland has imagined a new concept in sexuality she believes will be beneficial to the environment.
Writing in the academic journal Feminist Theory, Lauran Whitworth suggested the idea of ecosexualsim. An ecosexual “takes the earth as their lover,” or just “a person that finds nature sensual.”

People have asked me why I support Dan Hynes for Senate over Terry Wolf– especially since I respect and like Terry very much.
Terry has always been cordial to me, and I appreciate that in a public servant. She served for several years on the Bedford School Board and has served as Bedford’s State Representative. She has made many decisions and voted enough for me to know that her political views do not line up with what I believed was best for Bedford residents or myself.

Steve Negron Wins Second Congressional District Debate
Nashua, NH – Steve Negron, a U.S. Air Force veteran and small business owner, declared victory after tonight’s 2nd Congressional District debate and issued the following statement:
“The contrast between the vision I put forth this evening and the failed record of Congresswoman Ann Kuster couldn’t be clearer. Where she has worked to grow government and increase taxes, I have fought to cut them. It is vital that we Republicans nominate a conservative who can boldly articulate our message if we are going to defeat her.

Because he isn’t telling you. And if he isn’t willing to tell you, what is your answer to this question: “Can I not worry about how he will vote because I don’t know what he stands for?“
That’s how I ended up with my last post – what does Ted Gatsas believe in? We dunno, or at least I don’t. I’m quite sure there is a set of issues or a set of beliefs somewhere. After all, he’s had a long political career here in NH: state senator, mayor (wanted to be Guv). Perhaps those websites said what he thought were the issues of the day and what he’d do about them – then. Now? As the Executive Councilor for District 4? Not a whisper, not a word, not a syllable. I don’t think one can say “Transparency” in the political world where there’s nothing there to be transparent about.

Dianne Feinstein has a problem. Sorry. We could fill a blog with everything with which Dianne Feinstein has a problem and, wait. I think we…anyway. Today’s “problem” is common use with regard to what the California Senator refers to as “Assault Weapons” and Judge Kavanaugh’s response regarding ‘semi-automatic’ weapons, precedent, and the second amendment.
The Senator thinks that he and she are on completely different wavelengths.
