Her American Conservative Union score: 61%

Here are a few of the ways she voted to “limit” your government:

Mitch McConnell: Kavanaugh Will be Confirmed in September

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, in an interview last week with Hugh Hewitt, was confident that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh would be confirmed.

“He’ll be on board at the Supreme Court by the first Monday in October, which you and I both know is the beginning of the October term.”

Obama Says Benghazi is a ‘Wild Conspiracy Theory’

Barack Obama likes attention, so he got up the other day and said stuff to get him some.

“But over the past few decades, the politics of division and resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican party,” Obama said.

Obama then attacked Republican members of Congress, accusing them of embracing “wild conspiracy theories like those surrounding Benghazi.”

He got some.

NRA – Political Victory Fund Gives Steve Negron an “A” Rating

Steve Negron is the only NH CD-2 candidate to get an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund. That’s important because there are candidates who received an AQ rating, which the NRA explains as,

An “AQ” rating denotes a pro-gun candidate whose rating is based solely on responses to the NRA-PVF candidate questionnaire and does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.

That means they said all the right things on the survey but have no actual record to back that up.

Worried in Webster

BY TERRY ELLEN COX

‘”…progressive” are [sic] those who focus on using government power to make large institutions play by a set of rules…

Terry CoxCultural unease has grown more and more virulent since the 1990’s if not before. Issues are they are clear to all. The DNC is waxing full of people who are hateful, racist, accusatory and emotionally out of control. They assault any GOP, or perceived GOP, for any reason, stalking them and disrupting them at restaurants eating with their families. They spit, they vandalize, they throw things at rallies, they target even spouses and children. And yet they cannot articulate any solutions to what they are fighting about or engage in civil debate.

Ten out of the 11 Democratic candidates for Governor of NH said they were progressives. I’m told the fish rots from the head down so I am taking a wild guess that more NH Democrats will turn this way. When they are left unchecked it will signal the death of our republic, our culture and our way of life. Goodbye Freedom.

I ran across this 2005 article which well explains the basic political difference between a progressive Democrat and a liberal Democrat:

Mr. Trump’s Enemies Are Your Enemies

Conrad Black has an entertaining turn over at National Review titled Trump and His Enemies. It revisits the issue of Mr. Trump’s victory against both parties (for which his every-day American supports adore him) and how the ruling class establishment elites hate him for it.

Two pull quotes to tease it for you. First,

They are enemies and the president would not wish it any other way. He ran for office against both parties, the lobbyists, almost all the national political media, and the politically active elements of Wall Street, Hollywood, and Silicon Valley.

Are You Ready for the Ecosexual?

If you thought you’d heard it all well you have not. A Feminist professor from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland has imagined a new concept in sexuality she believes will be beneficial to the environment.

Writing in the academic journal Feminist Theory, Lauran Whitworth suggested the idea of ecosexualsim. An ecosexual “takes the earth as their lover,” or just “a person that finds nature sensual.”

Move aside treehuggers; you’ve got some competition.

Why You Should Vote for Dan Hynes Over Terry Wolf in Senate District 09

People have asked me why I support Dan Hynes for Senate over Terry Wolf– especially since I respect and like Terry very much.

Terry has always been cordial to me, and I appreciate that in a public servant.  She served for several years on the Bedford School Board and has served as Bedford’s State Representative.  She has made many decisions and voted enough for me to know that her political views do not line up with what I believed was best for Bedford residents or myself.

Steve Negron Wins Second Congressional District Debate

Nashua, NH – Steve Negron, a U.S. Air Force veteran and small business owner, declared victory after tonight’s 2nd Congressional District debate and issued the following statement:

“The contrast between the vision I put forth this evening and the failed record of Congresswoman Ann Kuster couldn’t be clearer. Where she has worked to grow government and increase taxes, I have fought to cut them. It is vital that we Republicans nominate a conservative who can boldly articulate our message if we are going to defeat her.

US Oil Exports Increase 80% in 2018 – “Fuel” Job Growth and Economic Recovery

bakken-oil-rig-north-dakota-continental-resources
Bakken Oil Rig – North Dakota

Mr. Obama did a little dance the other day repeating the Trump Derangement Syndrome Narratives while taking credit for the Republican’s Economic recovery. Does that mean that Barry is laying claim to this economic boon?

U.S. crude oil exports saw an 80 percent increase in the first half of 2018 compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data and analysis issued Thursday by the Energy Information Administration.

That’s an increase of 787,000 barrels per day, to set a new monthly record in June of 2.2 million barrels on average per day.

Executive Council District 4: “I don’t need to do anything to win because I’m Ted Gatsas!” – Part 3

“what can you do for Ted instead of what Ted will do for you”

Because he isn’t telling you.  And if he isn’t willing to tell you, what is your answer to this question: “Can I not worry about how he will vote because I don’t know what he stands for?“

That’s how I ended up with my last post – what does Ted Gatsas believe in? We dunno, or at least I don’t.  I’m quite sure there is a set of issues or a set of beliefs somewhere.  After all, he’s had a long political career here in NH: state senator, mayor (wanted to be Guv). Perhaps those websites said what he thought were the issues of the day and what he’d do about them – then. Now? As the Executive Councilor for District 4?  Not a whisper, not a word, not a syllable.  I don’t think one can say “Transparency” in the political world where there’s nothing there to be transparent about.

I intimated this earlier – WHERE is the Issues page on Ted’s site?  Answer:

Feinstein v. Kavanaugh – Assault Weapons v. Semi-Automatics, and Common Use

Dianne Feinstein has a problem. Sorry. We could fill a blog with everything with which Dianne Feinstein has a problem and, wait. I think we…anyway. Today’s “problem” is common use with regard to what the California Senator refers to as “Assault Weapons” and Judge Kavanaugh’s response regarding ‘semi-automatic’ weapons, precedent, and the second amendment.

The Senator thinks that he and she are on completely different wavelengths.

Brookstone’s Failure Should Send a Message to the NH Legislature About Biomass Bailouts

At the end of August, I shared an email from a reader. They suggested that New Hampshire’s choice of tax policies was somehow tied to a series of business failures (some pending), one of which was Brookstone, a niche specialty items chain that has corporate offices in Merrimack (ack-ack), New Hampshire.

Brookstone is failing, yes. But is it New Hampshire’s fault?

Quick Thought – On the fallacy of “Self-described Experts” by Maura Sullivan (Democrat Carpetbagger in CD-1)

New WMUR logowhich “Supply Sullivan” wants us to swallow: hook, line, and trigger. I haven’t watched the WMUR debates yet but will do so because, well, I should.  Still, this sound byte from their News caught my ear (emphasis mine):

“I believe the veterans in Congress are going to lead on this because we have an unassailable credibility when it comes to guns. And we can say on the House floor, we used these in Iraq, people used them in Afghanistan. They don’t belong in Manchester and they don’t belong in Hampton. they don’t belong anywhere in this country.”

-Maura Sullivan

No, you don’t.  This is the falsehood by a “in Supply” dud who

Vermont Democrat Walks Away. Why?

by Jim Fitzgerald, Candidate for St. Albans State Representative Franklin 3-1

As a proud Democrat, I was elected to represent St. Albans in the Vermont state legislature for six years, and after that I served as mayor of St. Albans for four years. This year I am running for the legislature again… but as a Republican.

Yes, a Vermont Republican.

Why?

Apparently, Vicki Schwaegler didn’t like the information I included in rejecting the Biomass veto effort

Vicki Schwaegler
Vicki Schwaegler

That would be here due to the news that she actively politicking on overriding Gov. Sununu’s veto override on SB 365 and SB 446 instead of recusing herself from the efforts due to her family’s landholding. I was told that she decided to run again (originally she wasn’t) in no small amount due to getting the override done and promote Crony Capitalism / Corporate welfare (and I reject what a lot of Republicans are saying, in effect, “everybody is getting a subsidy so why not them because JOBS!”. Sorry, this is not the Proper Role of Government to force the population to have their money taken from them to give to corporate interests; in this case, pay higher electrical bills all over the State for a fairly few number of people.  This is fair?

I even got an email over this from the Grafton Registry of Deeds complaining about the post I did – that email thread after the jump. Silly person.

One Year Later – A Lack of H.O.P.E. In Manchester Schools

Finally, the Manchester School Committee’s “secret” meeting about secret dealings regarding spending on a program, not supervised or approved by the Committee, hit the public.

Once again it took a pry bar for Manchester taxpayers to see where funding for another program, which looks suspiciously like the special interest of a single employee of the school, comes from.

The “pry bar” in this respect was a group of dedicated elected officials on the school committee who cling to the public’s right to know.

Why You Won’t Find Abortion in the U.S. Constitution

Democrats should be happy that Judge Kavanaugh does not see a specific right to abortion in the words of the US Constitution. It means that the lib-states can do whatever they want. Lefty Landscapes can continue to “euthanize” minority populations before birth and legally “separate” immigrant mothers from their unborn babies. All at Taxpayer Expense!

Women’s health care for all the victim groups including the ones that were not born “women.”

These states will be so desirable that “women” will leave non-lib-states that fail to see the benefit and move to the lib-states instead.

Right?
