I’m betting that the Democrat majority on the Legislature Fiscal Committee are mad as hornets given that this gift of our money by the Feds to NH is not going to be handed out to their special interest groups as easily as they first thought. Sununu did include most of those same politicians. However, he keeps control.
New Hampshire is Hurting for Money
New Hampshire is a small state dependent on small business. The single largest employer in the state is the government of New Hampshire. Did you know that?
ReOpenNH Concord Rally – Groksters Assemble
OK, a bit later than Steve’s posts but hey, life happens in between “stuff.” Anyways, a few videos coming up.
Michael Moore’s New Documentary: Green Energy is a Scam and We’re All Fools (Video Added)
Last October, in this very space, we announced Michael Moore’s new moment in time. A documentary on how the green moment is not green. It’s dirty, dangerous, another corporate swindle, and we (The Left) all fell for it. It’s not only not green, but it’s also bad for the earth.
ReOpenNH – Before the Rally and sometime during the middle: Govt signs
Heh! I was not surprised when I got to the State House just a tad before 11am (the Rally has been advertised to start around noon); no one was there. It was clear, however, that the Government agencies could read and monitor social media as well as anyone else and had prepared a welcome sign … Read more
Bloomberg Radio Gives NH Dem Party Chair Ray Buckley a Hard Time Over His Partisan Politics
Ray Buckley had a bad day. In an interview on Bloomberg Radio, the host roasted his chestnuts over the Democrat party of New Hampshire’s lawsuit against Gov Chris Sununu.
What Will America Look Like After the flu d’état?
As we scrabble about in search of a path back to normal the critical question to my mind is what will normal be? Look around you. With very little information and a few projections that were outrageously wrong, a majority of Americans knelt before the State and complied with its demands.
The Democrats are rejoicing in this misery
The loudest socialist mouthpiece in the House is AOC. She is cheering the news of plummeting oil futures. Monday oil futures went below zero. That means oil producers are paying processors to take the oil. Demand worldwide has plunged in response to the coronavirus.
NHGOP Announces 2020 Convention – Online Video Conference Call
The New Hampshire Republican Party has announced the date of its 2020 convention. It will be on May 9th, by online invitation. Attendees will be direct to a Zoom meeting link to participate.
The Left’s History of Bigotry
The Left’s History of Bigotry is long and deep. Socialists and leftists generally claim they support equality and diversity. Sounds great doesn’t it? It’s part of virtue signaling in this age of political correctness.
Team Trump Takes Tone Deaf Nancy Pelosi’s Expensive Fridge Full of Pricey Ice Cream For a Ride
If you missed it Nancy was on late-night television sharing some of her secure-in-place goodies. Expensive chocolates and massive twin high-end ‘fridges with pricey ice cream “that just got restocked.” This is the same woman who just blocked a clean bill to refund the small business compensation fund.
There Is No Science Supporting Sununu’s Decision to Keep NH Schools Closed
Back on April 16th, I posted about Sununu’s decision to keep New Hampshire schools closed for the remainder of the school-year: Reopening schools, based on the Ferguson model … which as you may recall initially predicted 2.2 million COVID deaths in the United States (versus the current projection of 69,000) … would cause an additional … Read more
Republican Governors Are Lifting Lockdowns & Reopening States’ Economies … Meanwhile Sununu Plans to Extend NH Lockdown
This: The governors of Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina on Monday afternoon announced new plans to bring their states’ economies closer to full force amid signs the coronavirus outbreak is slowing. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said certain businesses, including gyms and hair salons, can reopen beginning this Friday. Meanwhile, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee confirmed his state’s stay-at-home order, previously extended to April 30, will end … Read more
Dartmouth Professor Compares #Reopen Protesters to Nazi Sympathizers
If you do not recall Professor Jeff Sharlet, back in January of 2019, he showered glory on Dartmouth College when he said, “I’ll have no problem with someone doxxing these boys.” He’s referring to the Covington High kids who got smeared by the media.
In Other News, the FBI Knew Trump Never Conspired with Russia
For several years now, news on the Trump-Russia ‘Collusion Scandal’ broke as quickly and as often as the corporate media could manufacture it. The Mueller Investigation helped until it could no longer sustain the weight of the Bulls**t it had peddled and collapsed.
Beta Male Brian Stelter (D-CNN) Cries, Probably for Attention – Maybe Over His Abject Failures
CNN lies a lot, so odds are good this is total rubbish, but Brian Stelter took to the anti-social media the other day to overshare. He said he had cried. Based on how he has been behaving these last few years I’d think that less the exception and more the norm. But this ‘Cry’ had a more specific purpose.
Two Studies: Coronavirus Mortality Similar To The Flu!
Two studies in two different large California counties show the mortality rate of the coronavirus is similar to that of the seasonal flu. One study conducted by the University of Southern California (USC) and the L.A. Department of Public Health found that roughly 4.1% of the county’s adult population has already had the coronavirus and … Read more
Okay, here’s a plan
If you’ve read my discussion of why we don’t need a plan for re-opening the economy, and you still think we need a plan, here’s one for you to consider.
Do we need a plan?
What killed the USSR? Lots of things, but the leading cause of death was its insistence on maintaining a ‘planned economy’. Its leaders never understood, or just refused to believe, that millions of bright, creative, and motivated people, working individually and in spontaneous voluntary associations, would be able to come up with better solutions than a small group of government officials, even if those officials were among ‘the best and brightest’ people in the country.
That’s what will kill the US, too, if we let it. Unfortunately, it’s what an increasing number of people are calling for.
Colleges are Counting Students as Residents of the Town the College is in for the 2020 Census?
Tell me what you think about this. Members of the US Census ‘Community Engagement Team’ are reaching out to parents of college students. Why? To tell them not to count their college-age kids at their home when they fill out the census just because they are home from school because of COVID-19.
