Has the University of New Hampshire Been ‘Colluding’ With the Chinese Government?

Confucius institute UNHIn March of this year, the CIA issued a classified report labeling Confucious institutes as a threat.

The CIA has issued a classified report detailing China’s far-reaching foreign influence operations campaign in the United States, which imparts financial incentives as leverage to permeate American institutions.

The University of New Hampshire has had theirs since 2010. But according to the US Intelligence community, these arrangements may “provide ‘strings-attached’ funding to academic institutions and think tanks to deter research that casts (China) in a negative light,”

Democrats Don’t Give a Crap About “The Poor” – Part ….(It’s a Really Big Number)

Kuster and pelosiWhen Ann Kuster (and the rest of New Hampshire’s All Gurl Congressional Delegation) voted against tax reform on purely ideological grounds (based on fake news and flawed data), they voted to continue a punishing regressive tax on low-income families.

Republicans included in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act a provision reducing the Obamacare penalty for not purchasing “qualifying” health insurance to $0, beginning in January 2019. This move was particularly important for working-class families because IRS tax data show of the 6.6 million filers required to pay the Obamacare penalty in 2015, the most recent year for which data are available, 36 percent had an adjusted gross income of $10,000 to $25,000.

“Plastic Guns” – The 1980’s Want Their Gun-Grabber Hysteria Back

Have you heard about the “undetectable plastic gun”? The gun control lobbies call it is “tailor-made for terrorism.” The Washington Post reports that a state sponsor of terrorism is already attempting to obtain these guns. A Postcolumnist warns that the police “vehemently oppose the introduction of plastic guns into our armed society.” Newsweek predicts the NRA will face a member … Read more

“Profiting off the Anxieties and White Guilt of Northern Liberals”

In the wake of two recent posts on the subject of white guilt here and here this seemed a suitable remark to share.

As Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who’s also been smeared by the SPLC as an “anti-Muslim extremist,” has noted, the group these days is invested more in “profiting off the anxieties and white guilt of Northern liberals” than in actually upholding civil rights.

Jeff Sessions has ordered a review to ensure the U.S. Department of Justice is not partnered with the SPLC in any way, shape, or form and with good reason. The SPLC has become a hate group, smearing organizations, and individuals without fear until recently.

Advocates For Affordable Energy In NH Need To Fight for It

An above-the-fold story on the front of the Sunday Union Leader starts with “New gas pipeline gains support.” The project is an underground pipeline to carry natural gas from Manchester to Stratham. Governor Sununu likes it. The Business and Industry Association likes it. Small and large business owners, as well as ratepayers, might like it.

Democrat Lawmaker Created Intimidating and Abusive Environment

The New Hampshire House recently releases some documents in which was a redacted complaint filed earlier this year by a NH House staffer. The staffer alleges that a particular New Hampshire House Rep. “made frequent derogatory comments to or about the employee, and engaged in “a long pattern of behavior” that created a “hostile work environment.”

“Free” College and Health Care Starting Cost: $42 Trillion Dollars

“Nothing’s Free” is not a phrase in the budgetary lexicon of progressive liberal Democrats. We know this because they are constantly talking about Government-run programs to provide “social infrastructure” to the masses.

The latest “free” goodies to hit the narrative mill are Free College and Medicare for all. Medicare for all is single-payer healthcare. College professors are not giving up their paychecks. And a guaranteed government jobs program can’t pay someone with ‘free.’

The Urban Institute, a left-wing outfit (under) estimates that it will cost (meaning it is not free) someone (meaning you) forty-two trillion dollars to fund “free” for just the first ten years.

Money Man Behind Marsy’s Law Busted for Possession and Alleged Drug Trafficking

Henry Nicholas III dumped a small fortune into the pockets of lawyers and lobbyists in New Hampshire to hoist his proposed constitutional amendment (CACR22) on the Granite State. Commonly known as Marsy’s Law, it rolled into the state with bipartisan backing and a governor eager to sign it. At least until the activist community peeled back the onion to reveal the rot inside.

A bi-partisan reversal of fortune killed CACR22 by a vote of 284-51. Advocates promised it will be back but will their sugar-daddy be writing checks from prison? Henry Nicholas III was arrested in Las Vegas yesterday in possession of copious amounts of drugs and on suspicion of trafficking.

Eddie Edwards – Excerpt From Remarks at an Aug. 9th, House Party

I had the opportunity to capture some video at a House Party for Eddie Edwards. He is running for Congress in NH congressional district one.

I did run into a few issues and not just with the lighting. Some of the video was inaccessible after the fact. Some is just missing, even though the device was recording. So his complete remarks are not available. Instead, I’ll be editing what I have salvaged into 3 to 4-minute snippets.

“I Have No Pity For ‘Illegal’ Immigrants!”

I have a friend who is a legal immigrant from a country in South America. She came many years ago and likes to share how much hard work it took to earn her U.S. Citizenship. There is a lot of paperwork, she says. But it was worth it. She is very proud.

She also says she has no pity for illegals. None. Zeeerow! “They are Il-le-gal! I don’t care if they are one parent or a daughter, a family, or whatever it is they are doing.”

Use That Organic Cotton Shopping Bag 20,000 Times or It’s Worse for the Environment

“Our assumptions about what is environmentally friendly don’t always stand up to scrutiny.”

Recent research by the Ministry of Environment and Food in Denmark, published by the DEPA (Denmark Environmental Protection Agency), – Executive summary in English begins on page 13 – reinforces claims I’ve made here for years. The replacement for plastic shopping bags are worse for the environment.

Which is the carrier bag providing the lowest environmental impacts? In general, with regards to production and disposal, LDPE carrier bags, which are the bags that are always available for purchase in Danish supermarkets, are the carriers providing the overall lowest environmental impacts for most environmental indicators (Table III).

Expert: 170 Registered Voters in Ohio’s 12th District Listed as Over 116 Years Old

That’s Breitbart’s Headline, but I couldn’t think of a better one. It also reminds me of what one reader called the Al Franken effect. Votes from dead people. Votes turning up in corners of precincts or the back of some poll worker’s car. The tally of which always (against all statistical probability) favor the Democrat by a wide margin.

Maybe Al was groping them too?

Back to Ohio. The State with more 116+ year-old registered voters (all descended from some obscure Caucasus Mountain region, no doubt – Russians!) than anywhere on the planet.

If the Internet is a ‘Public Utility’ You Can’t Just Ban Alex Jones

I don’t pay any attention to Alex Jones. It’s not a value judgment he’s just not anywhere in my top-ten, twenty, or perhaps even 100 (500?) political talkers, writers, or thinkers for whom I make time. I am aware of him but not overly familiar.

Others think he’s the bee’s knees. I’m not here to tell you one way or another, but recent actions by social media tech giants against Mr. Jones have demonstrated another potential layer of liberal hypocrisy worthy of our exploration.

Why Wasn’t Feinstein Spied On When the FBI Discovered her Driver was a Chinese Mole

A few years ago the FBI notified a ranking US Senator on the Intelligence committee that her long-time Chinses driver was, in fact, a spy. The individual was fired though we’ve no idea how many sensitive conversations they shared over those many years.

I bring this up because that’s what the FBI does, or did until they discovered ‘Carter Page’ a man accused of having ties to the Kremlin when he was in the orbit of the Trump campaign.

What You Didn’t Know About National Defense, Obama, and Amazon.com

Maybe you know this; perhaps you do not. But before Mr. Obama retired from the Oval Office, he had a deal cooking to give Amazon.com a sole-source one-vendor contract to manage and control the entire US Defense Department Cloud. One ring to rule them all.

No redundancy. No backups. Just Amazon. Arranged by a guy named Deap Ubhi, hired by Obama, and planted in a serpentine new department of techs doing progressive techie things from their techie swamp, for their former employers. Ubhi spun the Amazon deal. Ubhi’s last job was Amazon Web Services, the Cloud Storage arm.

First Black Unemployment, and Now Hispanic Unemployment Hits a Record Low

Employment for ‘people of color’ continues to set records under President Trump. Back in April 2018, we reported on record-low 5.9% unemployment for black Americans. That’s the lowest its ever been. Ever.

In June 2018, Hispanic-Latino unemployment (ages 16 and up) reached an all-time low of 4.6 percent. The lowest since records were kept. And this isn’t just a one-month thing.
