Palate Cleanser: I admit – I could not pass this test…

November 30, 2019 Skip

Is it that they’ve plain run out of names and have to plunder all of fantasy? Heh! Wait until they start using the larger Science Fiction universe… I got a few (it’s been a long time since I actually sat down to read a book rather than perusing blogsites) but I’ll be honest – if I … Read more

This statistic should have Democrats yanking out their hair

November 29, 2019 Skip

It was a lot of Democrats in the “Blue Wall” state that crossed over and voted for Trump in 2016. Not so much in 2018 BUT! It seems that what happened for Trump then MAY be starting to rise up again in 2020.

Yet Another Example of Public Schools Telling Parents, “screw you!”

Any time you hear about “social justice” in schools, yank children out of there any way possible – “Social Justice” is nothing more than Leftist indoctrination of your precious ones.

B.b.b.b.b.but those stories on transgender women don’t mention this part at all!

November 29, 2019 Skip

For all of the trans sports stories that are here above the high school level, you never hear about the bathroom / locker room issue (except for that one of NH based Planet Fitness that threw out the Normal woman who complained about the man who said he identified with being a woman – but … Read more

“10 Things Climate Alarmists Don’t Want You to Be Thankful For.”

November 28, 2019 Skip

The Heartland Institute, much reviled by the Climatistas, put together a list of 10 things that are good for us regardless of the Green Nude Eel folks would have you believe. I’ve listed them here but go over to their site and watch the quick videos that go along with each of the below points: … Read more

What does it say about our Country when Hong Kong-ers are waving American flags while fighting to protect their Freedom…

…from the Chinese Communists while here in America, the Left waves flags for and advocates for adoption of the same oppressive Socialist and Communist political structures that is oppressing the young in Hong Kong. So, is the Federal Government Ambassador Jeanne Shaheen aiding and abetting Putin in Ukraine?

November 28, 2019 Skip

Oh, sorry, that would be the connections going outward from former Vice-President and current Presidential Candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter with millions of dollars of (ahem) compensation and campaign dollars. Ya gotta love it – Biden telling the Ukrainians to expand their gas production (and (paraphrased) and saying “I told them we’d withhold … Read more

So what will YOU tell your children and grandchildren on how you protected their freedom?

November 28, 2019 Skip

From modernity to the 1700s. From Prosperity to poverty. From Freedom to Government restricting you in every aspect of your lives. The Bigger the Government, the smaller the citizen. Giving thanks for a Government that makes a mockery of “The Land of the Free”? (H/T: Powerline)

So, what do YOU do with your new firearm?

Ran across this over at Instapundit: MY RUGER LCP BENEFITED FROM HAVING A COUPLE OF HUNDRED ROUNDS RUN THROUGH IT. Handgun Break-In: Is It Needed? It jammed twice on the first box of ammo, but has been totally reliable since I broke it in. Funny that Glenn Reynolds would state that he had a Ruger LCP; I … Read more

No Holiday is sacred for the Left

November 27, 2019November 27, 2019 Skip

It’s the holidays with Thanksgiving up first. Now, I don’t know about you but for me and my family, it is a time of reflection on all that God has bestowed upon – and being thankful for all those blessings (even when they didn’t “feel” like blessings at the time), for our friends, and for … Read more

For all of the Democrat yammering about getting money out of politics…

Democrats – the children are OURS, not the Parents

November 26, 2019 Skip

This is one of my pet peeve issues. Superindendent Kirk Beitler and the Gilford School Board are in the process of doing this right now with their Policy JBAB on “Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Students(implemented directly from the NH School Board Association who had this bucket of “Hating on Normal Parents” out there since 2008). … Read more

BlogQuestion of the Day – Sociopath or Socialist?

November 26, 2019 Skip

Heh! Over at The Corner was this: Would You Vote for a Sociopath over a Socialist? MSNBC commentator Steve Schmidt says, “In America, a sociopath will beat a socialist seven days a week and twice on Sunday.” Like most patriots, I’d probably support a high-functioning law-abiding sociopath over a socialist, as well. After all, only one … Read more

From Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals: RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.) So while this is a serious topic … Read more
