Keene State College Enrollment Decline Repackaged as ‘Right-Sizing’
Keene State College continues to have enrollment issues. But on a positive note, they’ve made that problem (sort of, kind of) go away by renaming it. The perennial decrease has been relabeled. The ten percent of staff the college had to buy out to avoid firing them outright can rest easy knowing they were ‘Right-sized’ out of their jobs.

Here. It’s what Democrats do. Let me remind you of what they did before: they created an $800 million hole in the NH State budget. They spent everything they could – and then more. You see, Democrats are:
- They believe in Government directed EVERYTHING – every aspect of our lives. That takes a lot of your money to allow them to do that
- While they are always screaming about separation of Church and State, they absolutely conflate the ideas of Government and Charity.
Why the second? they too lazy to get off their Collective butts to do the hard work of creating charities and then canvassing the public at large to fund them. Government means Ruling and Crowding out private charity. When they talk about Public / Private partnerships, you can always know who is in charge and who is about to be embraced and then absorbed (if not de jure, then de facto). Government IS Charity and Charity means Government because ONLY from Government can good things flow, according to their actions. And once again, while they’re out putting their sense of a Collective dystopia Utopia in place, they’ll be setting the stage, once again, for broadbased taxes. Which means that…

Nashua’s Property Revaluation Lowers Tax Rate But Not Taxes
Nashua Mayor Donchess is quick to point out that the city had to do its recent property revaluation. It’s state law. And that’s true.
He was not ‘unhappy’ to report that as a result, the tax rate will go down. But that’s not good news because the dance is between the tax base and the budget. Juggling numbers don’t change the actual problem. Yes, some folks will see their tax bill decline slightly but most will see it rise. Not because of a forced revaluation but because no effort is made to cut spending.

Nashua Mayor Asks For 4 Million From Surplus None of it For Commuter Rail
I guess there are bigger priorities in Nashua than “Choo Choo.” Capital equipment. Playgrounds. Sidewalks. A few ‘plants’ to spiffy up the joint. Work on a community center. Repurposing technology and updating an online dashboard so residents can access information from about city projects and initiatives. Like choo choo?
Nashua has four million dollars (leftover) and not a penny of it earmarked for another rail study.
They did earmark some to remove invasive species. No, not out-of-state Massachusetts voters living in Dem. Rep. Cindy Rosenwald’s house; plants by the river, or something.

I’m Keith Erf, candidate for state representative in Weare and Deering. I’m running for State representative to champion limited government. I’ve lived in Weare for 37 years. My wife, Louisa, and I raised four children here where they attended Weare schools.
I started my business, KyTek, in 1991 developing automated systems for the publishing industry. As a small business owner and member of the Weare Finance Committee, I’ve seen firsthand how NH business taxes, property taxes and expanding government negatively impacts our communities. We need representation in Concord that fights for our best interests, limiting government and taxation so current and future generations can afford to live and work in our community.
