What is the right response to lockdowns? Lockdowns do indeed have costs. Some are financial and some of them are personal and health-related. There’s more than one way to wreck a life. For example:

Black supremacy is the belief black people are inherently superior to others. From it flows the belief blacks should reign supreme. No decent person supports this idea. The same applies if we substitute white for the word black in the first two sentences of this paragraph.
When the World Health Organization (WHO) said in early March about 3% of people who get COVID die from it, they were wrong by at least one order of magnitude. The COVID fatality rate actually has turned out to be between 0.2% – 0.3%.
With over 10,000 signatures from health professionals and counting, the Great Barrington Declaration is beginning to make waves. The premise? That the political response to COVID is far more dangerous to healthy people than COVID19.
Early on in this circus, we reported on a statement by UK health officials about social distancing. They wanted to impose it and figured one meter would be adequate (no science, by the way) but settled on two-meters. Why? The experts didn’t think their citizens could quite figure out one-meter.
It’s time for another episode of jail the climate deniers. This time our contestants are three “professors” at the University of Exeter, and they are concerned about the “spread of spurious information. This circulates online and frequently ends up being discussed in established media or by people in the public eye.”
Every day it seems more and more people are jumping on the mask-wearing bandwagon, even as cases drop in New England. Sure, Texas and Florida cases are rising (not as alarming a rate as the mainstream media portrays, and more on that next time) but how is that relevant to New Hampshire?
We have tried to do our part to pull the mask from over your eyes, and we can say with confidence that our readers are better informed than most. Better than consumers of any other media in New Hampshire, and much of the country.
