KLAR: Championing the MAHA Agenda

October 11, 2026 John Klar

Zach Lahn, the MAHA Action-backed candidate for Iowa governor, is a sixth-generation Iowan who bought his great-grandparents’ 155-acre homestead in 2014 to raise organic oats and other crops (and his young family) regeneratively. He’s been campaigning tirelessly on a “Make Iowa Healthy Again” platform that includes supporting Iowa farmers, preventing out-of-state ownership of Iowa land, … Read more

Iowa Makes Protecting Girls and Women a Civil Rights Issue

March 3, 2025 Steve MacDonald

If you didn’t know or just forgot, Democrats hate women. Democrats have been at war with men for years, but truth be told, they’ve been at war with women for longer. The political left convinced them being a mom was bad. Being a stay-at-home mom was worse. That being a single mom was not bad, … Read more

Ron Desantis Struggles With Unrewarded Excellence

January 3, 2024January 2, 2024 Op-Ed

A perfect record, the governor predicted, would guarantee a chance to compete for greatness, inspiring his 5-year-old son to take a Sharpie in hand earlier this year, stand on his tiptoes, and lovingly graffiti the front of the DeSantis campaign bus.

The DNC Just Kicked Iowa in the ‘Caucus’

October 9, 2023 Steve MacDonald

There was a time when Iowa attracted people and politicians who would show up and party like it was in 1959. The residents would then, after close to a year of this, gather in barns or local veterans halls (or wherever) and raise a hand for a candidate of their choice.

How DeSantis Lost The New Hampshire Primary … And What He Needs To Do Next

September 24, 2023 Ed Mosca

Let’s start with what DeSantis needs to do next. Abandon New Hampshire … IMMEDIATELY. And say why … BECAUSE NEW HAMPSHIRE REPUBLICANS ARE NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF REPUBLICANS NATIONALLY; they are much more liberal than Republicans nationally, and I am NOT a good fit. Then focus on Iowa and South Carolina … reducing expectations for both, AND … fix his dysfunctional campaign.

1,300 Parents in One School District Threaten to Unenroll Students Over Mask Mandate

September 25, 2021 Steve MacDonald

Maybe this is how it’s done? “More than 1,300 parents in the Ankeny Community School District signed a petition threatening to unenroll their children if the district reinstates its mask mandate.”

Will Dems Go with Fraud to Reverse Two House Elections?

December 12, 2020 Steve MacDonald

America is transfixed on this much-disputed election outcome. Trump and his legal team are alleging widespread voter fraud. The Anarchists, Antifa, BLM, and Islamists masquerading as Democrats with their media lapdogs are deriding him for refusing to concede. They falsely claim a fraud-free election.

Any Student Arguing against Gay Marriage, Abortion or Black Lives Matter (will be) Immediately Dismissed

August 19, 2020 Steve MacDonald

We’ve been warning people for years. The campus culture is a microcosm for the Democrat Party’s plan for America. One liberal professor just isolated that “plan’ in her syllabus. “[A]ny student arguing against gay marriage, abortion or the Black Lives Matter movement would immediately be dismissed.”

Dem Strategist James Carville: Being Honest “is not how (Democrats) win a national election.”

February 9, 2020 Steve MacDonald

The democrat malaise over their 2020 prospects is palpable. If you missed the Live Stream from Radio Row yesterday, Skip shared a story about how most of the media there think Trump will win and they’re just arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

‘Republican’ Joe Walsh – “I am ending my candidacy for president of the United States”

February 7, 2020 Steve MacDonald

Joe Walsh hung on to Iowa but he’s hanging up his running shoes. Calling it quits. He no longer intends to run for President against Mr. Trump who got over 97% of the vote in Iowa. And Jennifer Horn (to the best of our knowledge) never touched the Walsh campaign.

Democrat Lessons from Iowa (And for Everything) – Blame Republicans

February 6, 2020 Steve MacDonald

One of the issues with the Democrat’s abject failure to run a caucus was clogged phone lines. Russians apparently hacked the number and gave it to Trump supporters who called it to complain. Democrats couldn’t send in their votes.

Reliability of Iowa Democrat Result

February 6, 2020

However the Iowa Caucus turns out there is a lack of trust in the outcome. Three days later the count the results are “97% tallied.”

Bernie and the DNC Are One and the Same.

There Could be Official Results (From Iowa) Before the Results From the New Hampshire Primary

February 5, 2020

Iowa’s Democratic Party announces a preliminary winner of their caucus… The selection comes on partial results that probably will change. (and have). With 62% of Iowa precincts reporting the results of Monday’s caucus, the results looked like this.

Confusion To The Enemy!

February 5, 2020 Norm Silber

Tuesday’s Iowa Democrat Party’s so-called “caucus” fiasco brought to mind a famous legend from the state in which I formerly lived, Florida. The legend arose from a truly legendary figure, the late Edward Ball. Ed Ball, who died in 1981, was a Virginia-born, notoriously irascible Jacksonville businessman and power broker, who became a brother-in-law to … Read more

Iowa: Democrats Screwed the Pooch with a Field of Losers in Which no One is all that Interested

February 5, 2020 Steve MacDonald

With 1562 votes counted (71%), Tom Steyer got five. Bennet, Bloomberg, Patrick, Gabbard, and Delaney have zero. Donut. At the other end of this dumpster fire, we have Buttigieg with 419 and Sanders with 394. 26.8% and 252%, respectively.

Breaking – Partial Democrat Caucus Results from Iowa … Buh Bye Biden!

February 4, 2020 Steve MacDonald

The train wreck that is Democrat anything, exemplified by the massive screw up in Iowa, is slowly untangling itself. Nate Silver is reporting numbers with 62% of the Caucus results included.

Iowa Caucuses Crash and Burn

February 4, 2020 Steve MacDonald

The Iowa caucuses crash-and-burn in a dramatic example of Democrat Party leadership and capacity. The Iowa State Democratic Party was slow-releasing results Monday night but at least they were inaccurate. No one seems to have a handle on what happened.

Trump Wins Iowa with Over 97% of the Vote While Dems Still Have No Clue

February 4, 2020 Steve MacDonald

To make things easier big-government Democrats made the Iowa Caucus harder. And then they screwed that up. Yes, the Iowa Caucus debacle is the new poster child for planned rule. Experts who know nothing executing a convoluted system designed to fail.

Billionaire Hedge Fund Manager Tom Steyer’s Campaign Trying to Buy Endorsements

November 8, 2019 Steve MacDonald

Steyer admits that he tried to buy the US Senate for Democrats. When that didn’t work, he bought the New Hampshire Democrats a legislative majority in 2018. He’s spent a small fortune in his race for the nomination (it’s okay he has vast wealth). And now he’s buying endorsements.

Warren Money Spent at Lemonade Stand Photo-Op Donated to March for Life

September 30, 2019 Steve MacDonald

My earlier prediction that Biden would win the nomination if he didn’t implode still applies. He is imploding. Liz Warren, on the other hand, is surging. In part because she’s the selfie-queen. But this photo-op didn’t entirely turn out according to ‘Plan.’
