What Do NH Democrats Say About Claims of Racism In the 2018 Elections?

Democrats in Florida and Georgia are crying racism because voters rejected two people of color running for statewide office. “At issue is the defeat of Andrew Gillum in the Florida governor’s race and of Stacey Abrams in the Georgia governor’s race.” Do New Hampshire Democrats want to weigh in for or against the arguments of their ideological brothers and sisters?

I’d be interested in getting their thoughts.

Granite State Dems just reelected one of the whitest women in America in the second congressional district (Ann Kuster) and despite all probability a man in CD1 (Chris Pappas) who looks whiter. Their Republican opponents pictured above (with Jane Cormier between them), were two Republicans who happen to be Hispanic and  Black. Two gentlemen who won their primaries running against slates in both districts of white Republican contenders.

No one on the right is calling anyone a racist. Never did, as far as I can tell. In fact, skin color never came up. We were busy debating issues, policies, and priorities.

Elsewhere, there are rumors that the place might not just be too damn white but that it’s something certain people can fix.

If you ask me the problem is it’s too damn Democrat.

But since they are already here, and they’ll be running just about everything again, was it racism in Georgia and Florida? Speak up. Mostly White New Hampshire wants to know.
